Zaro's Family Bakery

I've always enjoyed Zaros but the staff here has become so consistently slow I can no longer patronize this location. It's a train station, people here have places to go.

They make my coffee at Newark penn station! And its wonderful. Bye Starbucks!

Went there 3 times this week and twice my order was wrong when I got to work. Very disappointed 😩

I love this bread so much I bought back a whole suitcase of different breads to Florida it taste like the breads in Europe the best .

Popcorn and cheese cake are amazing.

Have a bad experience at pakchester location I went to buy what I needed I noticed is one person working handling money and food so I ask him to change his gloves before he touches the bagel and he want to give me lips service and tell me that I am rude for my own health

I would stop by there almost every morning and i would get a bad attitude from the guy and this morning he didnt even prepared my order properly so today is going to be the last day I would ever purchase anything there.

Good pastries and coffee.

Used to go here every morning for coffee and breakfast until i got charged 2x i went to the manager and they took my card info told me i woukd be refunded in 2 buisness days 5 days later still no refund not only did they loose me as a customer i let my family know not to go here i will bring my money to a more honest establishment just a warning if ur using a bank card pay ATTENTION!!

I spotted the bakery and had stopped to ask for directions, as well as getting a better look at the selection of breads. I not only got a polite response, but bought a round loaf of sliced bread with nuts and fruit and one with nuts. I asked them to double my bags and I happily left with my precious cargo and returned limping on my fractured foot (brace on) to catch the train to Philadelphia.I loved the bread so much that I took over two weeks to finish the loaves and even kept the bag, so I didn’t forget the name of the bakery. I really wish you could mail bread to people like us. It remained crusty on the outside and soft enough on the inside, without going moldy. I want more pls. Reminds me of the bakeries in England. Since I’m in Philly, how can I get your bread pls? Can you consider openomg one in Philly Penn station too? Thank you so much.Kemmy Tuyi

I go to this Zaro’s Every morning and get a buttered roll and this morning I went there again. The guy behind the counter repeats my order and I repeat the order and screams “THAT'S WHAT I SAID" and then walked off & shakes his head. I don't know if he was having a hard day. But when you are in customer service you are to be as kind as you possibly can. And to tell me to speak up which would have had be yelling is inappropriate and I was never going to do that! So if he is taking order I'll request to order from someone else.

I ordered a single red velvet small Cupcake and it was absolutely horrible, probably the worst I've ever eaten. It taste like a bunch of 6 year olds took a generic box of cake mix and did their best. It was cold and when is why it was refrigerated, I was told that the cream cheese would go bad🙄 but if that's the case, then how do you serve it so the cream cheese is soft and the cake is moist! 🤨 A waist of my time and money.

I stood in line waiting to place my order. The rep saw me but decided to spend his time chatting with a friend who arrived to the counter after I got there. I thought this was rude, but I waited. He continued his conversation for close to a minute and never asked me what I wanted from the display. Message to the manager, hire people who understand basic customer service and want to work. This young dude just wanted to socialize.

This local bakery is great! The pretzels are soft but crispy and the cheese ones are the best!
