Fast, good service, good bagels. They've only messed up my order twice and both times I found a free dessert in the bag

They have pretty good chocolate croissants - flaky pastry.I went to the upstairs location, it was busy but service was fine.

The location is why I keep going back (inside Grand Central). Easy place to grab a bagel on the way to your train. Maybe it's because I typically get one in the afternoon / evening, but the bagels are generally pretty stale. Service is quick if not friendly. Set your expectations accordingly and you will be fine.

Love the bagels here. Pure delight of home baked taste.

What has happened here? I got a bagel with lox and cream cheese and a seltzer and it was $16.50! And it sucked. What a disgrace to a place that used to be amazing. Run, don’t walk away from this rip off joint

I have had coffee here a few times. Rude unfriendly people in both upper and lower levels in GC. I had forgotten about my last experience and by their behavior today I realized it’s something specific to them. Some don’t understand English and get mad when you ask them something. I will not buy anything from them again. There are lots of other places and I spend my money where they are friendly and positive.

i will give 0 star instead of 5.i had bitter experience yesterday afternoon around 4-5pm in Zaro's .I went there for beer nd asked for 2 beers and give her $20 but the lady cashier do not return the change .when i asked for that money ,she said she already gave me ,how weird!i think owner told that lady to take the money from customer this way to make their business.

The food here is OK, but pretty unhealthy. The staff has been unnecessarily rude to me a couple of times (I didn’t hear them say “next customer” and they got mad at me) so I will not go back.

Stopped for coffee right before I jumped on my train,a staff was friendly enought but they put the wrong food in my bag, ran out of register roll so I couldn't get a receipt and the coffee was just ok. Did the trick but I would definitely grab coffee elseware next time

All the food Zaro's offers is fresh and the staff moves quick knowing everyone is in a hurry. Prices are a bit high, but I would guess the rent is high too, since they are located inside Grand Central.

Employees at Zaro’s location in Grand Central across from RiteAide are rude in-educated people who look down and talk down to customers. The women who puts out samples during lunch hours is the worst - she is standing there with angry eyes and says nasty things to customers who reach out for samples.

The staff was pleasant the food was acceptable. Definitely not a number one choice but if you are hungry you do what you have to do. The price is definitely inflated for the mediocre quality. They are taking advantage of the convenience of being in Grand central and the numerous travellers that need something and just barely catching their train. 01/15/2020
