Yummi Crab

I usually have a very good meal when I come however the last time, my food and sauce was very salty. The tea was good and my waiter could improve her attentiveness as it was crowded but I had to look for when I wanted to pay. Also the portions weren’t as big as I’m used to.

This place is one of the many crab places that have open in recent times but I really do like the uniqueness of this restaurant and it's interesting to look at all the different handwritten notes on the walls. I did not know how much I liked muscles until I came to this place.

I visited this restaurant twice in one week, the first visit was lovely, from the door to the table everything was on point. On the second visit three days later everything was the complete opposite, the hostess was preoccupied, the server took very long periods of time returning to the table on the first occasion to replace a fork that was initially presented to me that had not been cleaned properly, then there was the ordering issue, then the delivery of the bang-bang sauce, basically my second visit was very unpleasant perhaps due to weekend crowding. regarding the food on both occasions the food was great

The sauce was to die for. I got the mix medium. The sauce is very thick and delicious. I ordered dungeons crab, snow crablegs, and shrimp. It was like little Angels were dancing on my tounge and the heavens and the sun opened up. You will not be disappointed if you ate here. I tried firey crab and was very disappointed.

Yesterday my mother and I visited the Yummi Crab in Sandhill. I was pleasantly surprise. Upon entering we where greeted by Hostess Nina. She was so friendly and a pleasure to meet. Since we order to go, she took our order and made sure we were OK while waiting. Awesome customer service. Even the bartender was sweet. Yummi Crab now has the bar section open with a small stage and plenty of room to sit and have a drink. Plenty of options available. The atmosphere is relaxing and friendly. Now to the food…. Our food was so hot and fresh, that when we arrived home the food was still hot and delicious. The Mango Smoothie is awesome! You have got to try it. Kudos to David who is the owner/manager. He is sweet and friendly as his staff!! Very attentive and hands on person. The place not just offer great food but a clean and claiming environment where one can enjoy themselves.

Enjoyed the atmosphere. Staff is friendly and service was excellent. The spice level was a pleasant surprise. Most restaurants are scared of the heat, but I really enjoyed their hot chef seasoning.

Friendly place, we ordered the shrimp and crawfish with boiled potatoes, sausage, corn. The sauce was the yummi sauce/Hot. Looked very appetizing, came in a bag with all the juicy sauce. Comes with a bib and gloves for folks that dont like to get dirty. Shrimp: could tell it was not fresh but frozen, had some spots of freezer burn, tasted a little fishy. Crawfish: I know its not in season but wanted to try anyway expecting it to be ok, well it was not ok, not edible, not cleaned well, very mushy, overcooked, tried a couple others were all mushy. Living on the gulf coast me and my husband have been spoiled with great seafood. The sauce was not really hot at all, should of ordered the extra hot. The strawberry smooth was more like a slushie, but it was refreshing. We will not be eating here again especially for the price, But locals that have not had fresh seafood may love the place.

Ordered online 6:31PM for pickup. It said my order of 10 shrimp and 6 scallops would be ready for pickup at 6:51PM. I got here at 6:55. Waited for 20 minutes in line to say I’m here. LITERALLY just got my food at 7:47PM! Manager and employees had no sense of urgency and didn’t appear to care! I WILL NEVER RETURN HERE again!! I picked up food for my family from another restaurant that is now cold and ruined!! Edit: Food is COLD. Had to reheat in the oven!! Got ranch instead of tartar. Did not receive my honey mustard. Terrible experience!

Our server was super nice and kind but the service as a whole seemed to take a bit longer than expected, however, I'm fairly confident that these issues will be resolved with time. We came in right after they opened so bumps and hiccups are to be expected. We ordered the lunch specials Fried Catfish (3) and Fried Shrimp (6) and both were great, but our appetizer, 6 Raw Oysters were not very tasty. There are definitely better locations for Oysters than Yummi but the other food we had was great. We will certainly be returning but I think we'll skip out on Oysters for future visits. 👍

The food was amazing, it was so good I forgot to get a picture! Family of 5 with adult drinks and dessert and it was just over $100.00 with the tip! You will not be disappointed! Highly recommend

Our dining experience went very well- initially. We ordered and received our food in a decent amount of time. The food was actually great. I’ve ordered take out on several occasions but was never really satisfied with the quality of the food being served so this experience was pleasant. I actually opted to order more shrimp and corn on the cob to go. My husband and I both got up to use the bathroom and were gone less than 5 mins. We came back to our table cleared and our food gone. There were a significant amount of ppl there waiting to be seated but we hadn’t paid the tab yet so I’m not sure why they assumed we were done. Overall the food was worth it but the experience really warranted the 3 stars. If you eat here- don’t do take out and specify to your server that you’re not really leaving.

This was a reasonably price and unique meal. Everything was fresh and tasty. Seem to use a lot of one use plastics, wish that was not the case.

Today was my first time eating at the Yummi Crab and I must say I will definitely be going back. I was a little concerned because the parking lot was packed but was able to get a booth as soon as I walked in. Walking in I thought it was a very unique touch to have signatures and messages all over the walls and chairs. My waiter was amazing he went over the menu offered recommendations and very friendly. The food was hot and fresh. I will definitely be going back. Oh I definitely recommend wearing the bib or a shirt you don't mind messing up the food is Juicy in a good way.

Crab legs were smaller than expected, no leg-cracker given, and may have been slightly overdone... meat was difficult to get out. That being said, service was excellent (Blake) and the shrimp basket and fries were amazing!

The food was good for the most. My problem is always the simplest things like my eggs being undercooked. The oysters weren't good nor were they easy to remove from shell..crab legs a bit small and difficult to remove from shell as well. Anybody should be able to boil an egg. Thank goodness they had a alcohol drink menu with great drink choices because that's what kept us from walking out after discovery of the undercooked eggs. I asked for a to go bag quick,smh
