Lunch menu is very expensive, I put a small amount of tip every time I come here and they say tip is always included since their prices are expensive for Japanese food , they will rush you to leave , and the old woman today me “DO NOT COME BACK ! “ what a character if you can’t leave a big tip . Absolutely I won’t go back ! I work so hard for my money and 18$ lunch menu is not cheap and she told me she gave me water , tap water , so I must give big tip . Hays . Fish is not fresh .

Excellent atmosphere and service. Not the best Japanese food I've ever had but the vibe and the late night hours make up for it. I enjoyed seared cubes of steak and goya with eggs and pork belly. The proper sized flagon of Sapporo washed it down perfectly. A good place to have on the radar.

One of my favorite places in NYC. Actual Japanese people working as servers (most of the time), and it just makes going there so much better. All the food is so perfect, definitely reminds me of traditional Japanese tastes. I will forever be glad I got to find a little bit of home at this amazing place. If you pay cash after 10:30pm? (i think), it makes everything even that much more worth it! The service is great.

Cheap good food! Our server was very nice. There are lots of students around here, so its a fun rowdy crowd.

Came here around 10pm and still the place was hopping. Got a back table which seemed to be the gaijin side as everyone around us all were non Japanese, whereas I noticed the front section were all conversing in Japanese. Perhaps it was easier for the wait staff to divide and conquer the crowd. Food was decent and at the right price point. No tipping was cool. Overall a pleasant experience for a late night pub crawl in NYC.

For last 20 yrs, this restaurant has never disappointed me. Many choices of drinks and delicious dishes! Are you hungry 2am in the morning? Go for it, they are gonna welcome you!

I was in Tokyo last night, I must say, I had the best ramen of my life tonight; at Donburiya.

I've only been here once but I could tell the katsu was pretty high quality. Service with a mix of good and bad depending on who you get as your server. That being said they don't see you at the restaurant and you guess pretty Delicious Japanese food. We arrived right before opening time and the place got packed pretty quick so make sure to come early.

It's a nice Japanese restaurant with great food at reasonable prices. The large selection is definitely best enjoyed with a group of people. Overall, good service and fantastic food. Highly recommend.

Food is great and the staff was very polite and helpful. Authentic izakaya experience and the drink selection compliments the menu very well. Would definitely go again!

Great place to chill with friends! Bar seats are cozy for couples, also on your one:) So many good variety of food and drink options. That are serving food until 3am!!

Pretty nice place. My favorites are chicken soft bones and eel & rice. Black cod is also good.
