Ordered fried oysters as an appetizer, got them after our entrees came out. Fish and chips was good, fried fish sandwich with rockfish was terrible. Fish was overcooked and hard, bread was hard and fries were cold. Scenery was great being right in the water. We will definitely give them another try.

Both the service and food were amazing! The server was funny, friendly, and helpful!

Had good food. Stopped on a whim while out for a bike ride on a nice day. Staff were nice and portions were decent would definitely go again. Tried deep fried Mac and cheese bits. They had a special on oysters on the half shell, they we're good and seemed fresh.

We visited on Sunday March 15, 2020 for Brunch. Our Waitress was Awesome!! Food was ok, but not great, WAY overpriced for quantity. Not very appetizing to look at , and not very tasty. I would not recommend, nor will probably not return.

Awesome eatery! Our server, Sarah, excellent! Fresh seafood and everything was fantastic! We will definitely be coming back to eat here again.

Beautiful location on the Gloucester County side of the York River. By land or boat a perfect spot for a couple, a group meeting. Friendly staff and nautical decor. Outside seating available in season.Food is so-so.

Bar and outdoor seating were across from each other. VERY loud regular customer was there and prevented our conversations until he left. Poor timing on our part. Food was good. Seafood was well cooked, not rubbery. Wait staff was attentive and nice. Pricing was ok. Great view of the water. Most of the out door seating was under an overhang, but not all. Bathrooms were clean.

My aunt and I ordered take out tonight and it was phenomenal. We could not have been pleased anymore than we were. We ordered the shrimp tacos, calamari, and the YROC salad with blackened Mahi on top (I believe that is the name of it). It was all cooked to perfection. The tacos had nice jumbo pieces of shrimp with slices of avocado and slaw on top, the calamari had a delicious thai chili sauce on it that was drizzled at the perfect amount, and the salad had a beautiful layout with Mahi cooked to perfection. We will be ordering again soon and thank you for the amazing food and kind staff! :)

Best seafood spot in VA!!! As a Kayak Angler I am always looking for places with amazing seafood and York River Oyster Company is in a league of its own! I also love it’s a 15 min kayak from Gliucester Point.

They have stepped up in a big way. Tuna tower is the way to go. Fresh to death for sure! Environment, it's actually on the water!! What more could you ask for!
