Yolk - River North

We frequent Yolk, and visit all of their locations. Generally the people are great and the food is exactly what you expect. This is a solid dining venue with consistent food and no surprises, good or bad. The server was good, as always, and everyone at the table enjoyed their food. Prices run a bit high over all, but are consistent with similar establishments.We had an uncharacteristic failure on an egg order. Our person ordered scrambled but what we received was a bit of a mess. I guess it was scrambled, but looked more like yellow rice than like any other form of scrambled eggs.Overall worth it.

Yolk offers a wide selection of delicious breakfast food. We really enjoyed very berry French toast, however, their bacon waffle surprised us since we expected it to be bacon strips on top of the waffle

Had breakfast at YOKE For the first time and it was absolutely perfect in every way. Our waitress Heather was phenomenal (yep, I stated phenomenal). Her attentiveness, friendly and professional attitude was not only noted by my guests and I but others chimed in agreement about her ability.The food....in a word DELICIOUS I ordered the yoke all star combo which consisted of 2 sausages, 2 strips of bacon, Cinnamon Roll French toast (or pancakes or waffles). *$3 extra for the cinnamon roll totally worth it. I had scrambled eggs with cheddar.One of my friend ordered the same thing only she had eggs over easy and crepes. My other friend had the salmon and eggs dish.

We had a rough start but the service and food was good. The entire team was pleasant and willing to assist with a smile. We're out of town and will be back! Kudos Yolk Team!!

We shared a pretty nice breakfast as a family. They had a wide selection of dishes and it was so hard to choose the right one!I went with the eggs on the Baskets and gravy. This is known as the farmers meal for the breakfast. My brother got the steak and eggs. As well we ordered and eggs Benedict and another egg plate. I will see that the food is pretty well but the only downside was the noise level of the restaurant. It was pretty noisy in there and we were sat next to the dish collection bin. Overall pretty good food and service but the noise was obnoxious.

Very good breakfast option. Large portions of good quality food. I had the homemade corned beef hash. Not the best I've had but good. However, the blueberry pancakes that came with it were excellent! Not the cheapest breakfast option, but worth the visit.

Food was high quality. Wait staff was very attentive. Great ambiance and would make a great meeting place to enjoy conversations. Would definitely be back. Wish there was a location in Central Texas.

Great food and well proportioned. Service was egg-cellent as always! Restaurant was not too busy when we arrived at 930am but was getting very busy as we were leaving. Always a great experience here.

A rather simple, Keto-friendly, three-egg steak and veggie omelet. Topped with some cheese, with a side of sliced tomatoes.Protein and fat-rich with decidedly fewer carbs. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞A not-so-chain, chain restaurant. Gigantic menu, welcoming staff, friendly vibe, nice interiors, and great city views.For those with a sweet tooth (yes, we’re guilty too), try their red velvet French toast; the best part- you can order a bite-size serving, enough to satisfy your cravings and put a smile to your face.

Good food and great service. Coffee was above average and recommended omelette was solid. Food came out warm but not hot. Would still highly recommend

Nice place to grab breakfast in Chicago. Kind staff and lots of breakfast options. We went with the Chicken and Bacon waffles and the Potato Pancakes with an extra scrambled egg on top

I stepped outside the box and tried something different. I had tbe so torero scrambler. With the potatoes and pancakes. It was delicious. The pancakes were full size and the potatoes were well seasoned. I will be back and next time I'm here

Had an unbelievably good ribeye steak with eggs over easy and an upgrade to berries. The steak was juicy and perfectly cooked, the eggs cooked perfectly inside and out, and the berries must have been hand picked they were so sweet. I’m not usually this high on breakfast places because everyone knows how hard it is to find a good steak and eggs these days but Yolk delivered big time.
