It’s absolutely unprofessional the lady the at the front desk she’s not friendly at all I called in to order told her exactly what I wanted when I got there it was something else I told her it was the wrong order she said no and insisted on me taking it I told her to please replace the food she says no so then I ask her for a refund because I didn’t want it anymore she says no I will not give you a refund I’ll remake your food okay cool I get my food and when I ate it it had tiny rocks in it and not to mention I’m pregnant ....I will NEVER step foot back in that restaurant again.

This place does not get the recognition it deserves. I dream about the cumin tofu. It's so good it doesn't make sense.

Food is good and consistent. Quiet in the middle of the week so slip in for intimate meal without a lot of noise. When it says the things on the menu are hot heed their warning. The pork bowl is wonderful and over it my favorite menu items. Boba drinks offered if you're into that

In the 5 years I've lived in Columbus I've eaten half of everything on Ying's vast menu and all of it is delicious. I've never had anything I didn't like from there. My partner and I order Ying's at least once a week, sometimes two or three times!

The restaurant is under new management and the service was never really all that good but now it's absolutely terrible. We waited after being seated for 10 minutes before our order was taken and the 2 other tables that were sat after us received their food first. 30 minutes later we still haven't received our food and no one has come to apologize or explain why. When the food did come out the servers did not know what they were or who they belonged to. I'm a very patient and tolerant customer, and i certainly want small businesses to succeed but there is a limit and they have crossed it several times this visit.I hope they get their act together soon because they will not be here long if they don't.

Most important about this place at least in my opinion when they say something is spicy it truly is. I like spicy food so if you don’t be careful you might not like it. The food overall is really really good. Tried the spicy dumpling soup finally after eating here several times and I highly recommend it.

Got my food delivered quickly . Egg roll was good. However my sesame chicken was bland. Only enough sauce to cover the chicken. Nothing to mix with the rice. Taste was very bland. Not something or somewhere I will go out of my way for again. Next time I will try a different Chinese restaurant when I crave Chinese.

Went in for lunch on a Saturday and was totally empty. Service was pretty poor. Was only 1 server yet still had to serve ourselves water and grab our own utensils and dishes. Food was okay, but the sandwiches were hard and the cold noodle dishes were especially bad. Skewers were pretty good and so was eggplant dish, but not enough to make it a repeat restaurant.

Ying's frequently receives more carryout orders than people dining in, and I can't stress enough how crucial it is to dine in to enjoy their impressive and extensive menu. They have two: an "American" and a "Chinese" menu. Ask for the Chinese one and order from it. Order a boiling hotpot, savor a soup, and order delicious dumplings. Perhaps their General Tso's Chicken will not disappoint, however, this is not the place for that. The dishes taste fresh, are properly spiced and don't taste overly flavorful like your neighborhood spot. From the decor to the service this place is one of those home-cooked and authentic Chinese restaurants you rarely come across in Columbus. Dine-in and enjoy.

Questions & Answers

This fourm gets questions from local guides usually. I would call and ask them directly. If I remember correctly, I don't think they do?
