Small shop with quick and fast service. Rice noodle rolls are smooth and slick. Meat filling are sliced meat instead of the ground meat. Different style than the typical tea house - comes in giant roll instead of the tea house's typical 3 smaller rolls. Could use a little more soy sauce.

Food is good and cheap. Don't expect much service though, it's definitely run like a restaurant in China where waiters don't do anything unless you ask. So don't be afraid to ask for service or the bill. I still come once a week though around 11pm. They always start moving the chairs around and making loud noise before they are closed when people are still eating. So just come eat quick and leave.

I was here on New Year's day for lunch and it was a pretty long wait. About 35min in line and another 15 min after ordering for the food to come. I had the R1- beef, shrimp and chives rice noodle roll and the R2- pork, shrimp and chives rice noodle rolls. I love both of them, the rolls are silky and smooth soaked in sweet soy sauce and packed with meat and big pieces of shrimp. I also tried the C5 Lai Wan style assorted congee which has fish, squid, pieces of octopus topped with peanuts and ginger. The congee was good but nothing special, the rice noodle rolls are better. I definitely could see why this place is so busy and why it takes forever to get a table - they serve true, authentic Chinese comfort food!

The best rice noodle besides the ones I had from China. The milk tea is also very good. Price is cheap. Remember, cash only!

A place that specializes in freshly cooked rice noodle Chang Fen. It is different than the one you usually get at dim sum as the rice noodle is freshly cooked so it is much thiner. The taste of the rice noodle is very smooth and the filling are savory. I also like the chili oil as it has extra spices inside. My personal favor is the classic rice noodle with fried dough. Price is very reasonable but cash only. If you come after 9:30am-ish, then expect some lineups although it is a breakfast location so the wait is usually at most 30mins. My favored is the classic rice noodle with fried dough.

Very nostalgic dishes and taste is on the spot. Only downfall is the rice noodles are too small for the price, the portion is a snack size. It shouldn't be $8.

Great, authentic, guangzhou style fen. Prices very competitive, selection is good. Good atmosphere, though slightly cramped seating. Would recommend.

Very yummy selections of cheung fen (rice noodle rolls) and Congee ( rice porridge). It is quite a wait to get a table.Make sure you get at least 2 plates a person, try as much as you can with a bigger group

Rice noodle rolls were very tasty and the texture and thinnest of the rice noodles were excellent! Best rice noodle rolls I've had in Canada for sure.I definitely recommend the bbq pork and shrimp & beef rice noodle rolls! Those two were absolutely delicious.

Best rice rolls in Toronto. Others’ rice rolls are not even comparable to Yin Ji. But keep in mind that they only accept cash and don’t expect excellent service/environment.

This restaurant's brand name is super famous in her home town, Guangzhou. It is my favorite Chang Fen restaurant. Everytime I visit Guangzhou, I will go there and have a feast. So, I am super excited that it opens a branch in Markham. Finding a parking spot in weekends might be a bit challenging, but it worthes. The space is not too large, less than 20 small tables. The service is fast, usually you get the dishes within 10 minutes. The quality of Chang Fen is super good. Our favorites are shrimp Chang Fen and beef Chang Fen. The congees are also very delicious. Highly recommend.

We were excited to try the Cheung fun here but as we were ordering we found out they use PEANUT OIL for pretty much everything and my daughter is allergic to peanut so please be careful. We ended up leaving. I’m giving it a 4 star because most Chinese restaurants aren’t very accommodating with allergies but they were very understanding and provided options to bring in outside food if we wanted to.
