Omfg amazing! I had the garlic prawns and they were HUGE. Unable to actually fit one in my mouth. Cooked perfectly and the garlic butter drizzle was wonderful. This is my second visit and the service and portions and atmosphere are awesome. I will be back again and again. Thank you Yiannis!

Excellent service. Food portions are more than adequate and the food is exceptional! I had the Souvlaki and the Chicken was so full of flavour and tender. My girlfriend ordered the Calamari and it was cooked to perfection which is a rare thing with that order. Not chewy at all, it fell apart in the mouth. We will not only be back, we will make this a staple of our visits to the city. We can't wait to enjoy the patio in the summer months!

Delicious! I had the beef souvlaki meal with a glass of white wine. It was happy hour so the wine was half price. The service was excellent! I recommend tryinging the Ekmek dessert! The outside of the restaurant does not do justice to the inside. It has modern decor with a very good greek vibe. I will be back soon.

I had the moussaka. It's hard to beat and even tastier the next day for lunch.

We had souvlaki, saganaki, and spanikopita. Food was top notch, but a little bit expensive for me.

Sending my love to this place! I'll explain. I work Skip the Dishes for my second job and I'm usually dead tired. The hostess there (a beautiful brunette) was so nice to me and very gracious. Her sense of humor lifted my spirits that night. She deserves a raise! And the place I notice has great ambiance. Fully packed. Great all around!

We seem to hit this restaurant most trips to Edmonton and have a wonderful time every time. Bright open surroundings. Super attentive staff. Well organized and interesting wine list. And amazing food. Large, delicious portions, all served at very fair prices. It's why we keep coming back!

Yiannis is always such a treat! I took my boyfriend and his mom for dinner upon my suggestion and we couldn't have had a better meal in a more wonderful restaurant! Thanks guys! You gotta check this place out!

I recommend Yiannis Taverna Greek Restaurant,exceptional grandma food, a Greek traditional with outstanding hospitality . No differences as visiting Greece .Spectacular Belly Dancer events.all stars.

Love the moussaka. Big portion. Always take half home.

Service was good, but there were a few issues. Ribs at a Greek restaurant should not be coated in BBQ sauce, and we had roast lamb served in a small dish with sauce, really not what roast lamb should be. We had a special coffee, which was lukewarm when it arrived. I will enjoy Greek food elsewhere, this was not worth the $$
