I ordered 2 bowls and a salmon sashimi in Uber eats during the quarantine. First of, the sashimi was in between the 2 dons, so it was very warm. Second, the rice was extremely old witch completely ruined the dish. This is an Asian restaurant. It's a shame to serve old rice. The sauce was good though.

A pretty good place to chill. The options here are pretty authentic. The service is nice. The food is good here, probably above average.

I just adore this place. I wanted something Japanese but not sushi or ramen and a friend recommend SOBA. It's soo good. I definitely recommend giving this place a try.

Delicious. Prices are very reasonable for the quality. Really polite staff. Tako wasabi was sooooo good.

The seafood here is very fresh. And I love its foie gros salad, really delicious. But the hours are not same as the restaurant. I went to here on Thursday, but this restaurant closed later than what’s shown on google maps.

A relaxed and atmospheric Japanese restaurant, which is a very welcome option. Unlike the Izakaya options in the area, Yen is very peaceful. The food is delicious and reasonably priced, focusing on soba and curated maki rolls. There are also many rice dishes as well. The food is flavorful and simple. A great selection of sake is available. This restaurant seems ideal to have a quiet meal with a small group.

Very pretty decoration, done with great details. The food however... the portion is ridiculously small for the price. The bowl's size would be great for an appetizer. As a frequent visitor to Japan, I have to say that the dishes taste no better, or even worse than the casual fast food joints over there such as Yoshinoya or Matsuya, which cost only a fraction of the price here. Disappointed after seeing so many people praising this place, the quality/price standard is just not there.

Very expensive for what you get.Portions are small and while they taste good, they aren't exactly "amazing". Really hard to justify spending 8.99 on tofu.

I'll echo the sentiment that the servings are ridiculously small for the price. Food is good... better than average. Not really a traditional Japanese restaurant, more fusion style than traditional Japanese fare. The photos on the menu don't really match what you get, but it does say on the first page that photos are for illustrative purposes only, lol.

A new discovery near Concordia! I love their innovative menu and meal presentation, and of course it also tastes amazing. I've been here twice now and I've tried their tartare, avocado, and soba noodles. They don't disappoint. I really recommend the avocado tartare as an entree and the chicken miso soba noodles. Those were my favourite meals of theirs so far. What I like about their noodles is they serve the broth in a teapot on the side so you pour at your leisure.
