This review pertains to the restaraunt only. I want to state that I am big fan of the market, which provides so many essential goods to the local persian community. With that being said, I feel the restaraunt has been letting me down lately. The food offered is by far the most expensive when compared to other local persian places, but the quality has not been matching price. Sometimes the chicken kabobs seem like they have not been seasoned correctly and have too much salt. Even the koobideh seemed to fall flat in taste on a few occasions. I remember the food being better before. I still reccomend this place to others but now with added warnings.

We come here often for the lunch special - I always get the chicken kabob. The portions are decently sized - very filling and great flavors. Despite being a lot of food, I never feel bad after finishing my meal because it has the perfect balance of meat, rice, and salad. Service is great too.

The food here is good and the decor is really authentic. Service was great and we enjoyed the overall experience. The meats are the strong side of Yekta with flavorful and fresh options to go around. We will be back

Persian Kabobi restaurant. Very good ambience. It is beyond an eatery unlike other middle eastern or indian restaurants. I cannot say it is 100% authentic but very tasty. Chicken and Salmon kabobs are great! Barg is not the same as you find in an Iranian restaurants but it tastes very good. For two, the bill is about $50-$60. You don’t regret, go for it!

Food was decent but the bread, rice and chicken kabob was too dry. The set up and grocery is fine otherwise.

Loved this place! First time trying Persian food. The server was very helpful, especially considering we didn't even know how to eat one of our dishes. My boyfriend and I split 2 appetizers and 1 kabob entree, and they actually split the entree onto 2 separate plates for us. The food was all delicious and I would love to go back

It's our preference among other Persian foods & restaurant in the DC area. We like the freshness the the food. She ze of stews could be larger though (they are kid size!)

A group of us have been going here since the 90's when it was cafeteria type tabled place, now it's classier but still a place to enjoy Kabob. Us 4 guys still meet there every few months or so.

Ate lunch here with coworkers.t's more expensive than your average kabob place but the quality of the food and the services is great. There is also a market attached. Spent about 30 usd.
