Yamas Mediterranean Street Food

One of my new favorite restaurants in Winston Salem NC and especially downtown. They have an amazing interior with ample seating and an easy ordering process of build your own bowl, 🥗 salad, or 🥪 sandwich. They also have several kids meal options. Their ingredients here are next to mine. Great Mediterranean cooking style of 🐔 chicken, 🐑 lamb, and more with fresh vegetables like artichokes, lettuce, pickled veggies, sauces, cucumber, and more. They also have amazing thin shoestring fries with tasty spices. They also have amazing desserts like huge 🍪 cookies, baklava, and others that are sure to delight. They have a great private small dining room as well. They have ♿ handicap accessible parking, entrance, and seating as well. They do have a unisex restroom and outdoor seating.

This place is awesome! Great fresh flavors and colorful options! Get a lot of food for your money. Also legit spicy stuff! So many delicious vegetarian options!

What a wonderful place! Love how you can customize your own bowl with so many different sauces, spreads, veggies and meats. The pomegranate braised lamb is LEGIT! So is their gyro!

We love coming here for lunch and dinner. The food is so fresh and flavorful!

Great, build your owns or certain type with build ya owns too. Fries on it it on the side depending what ya get. Wonderful different tea & juice options which i infused. (They have soda & water too) the cashier was rude but its not like i had to look at her while i ate 😂 loved the photos on the back wall favorite spot to sit. & it was very filling

My favorite restaurant in Winston-Salem, no contest. With the student discount especially, it’s an amazing deal for your money. I love getting a half salad/half lentils bowl with falafel. It’s absolutely delicious! Everyone is so kind and they look like they’re having fun while working too. It can get really busy right at noon, but I try to go in near 11 AM and there’s usually no wait.

Really healthy, fresh options. Choose pita, bowl, salad or wrap build your own!

This place is fantastic. I can't believe that such a trendy, delicious restaurant is in downtown Winston-Salem. Downtown has sure changed. The woman who waited on me was wonderful. She was friendly and helpful. There are a ton of choices and the the bowl I had was delicious and very flavorful. The drink options are plentiful and unique. I will definitely be a regular visitor.

Love Yamas! Have been coming since it opened. Always have amazing food ! I will say the last couple times I’ve been in there service hasn’t been as sharp. Haven’t seen the normal female manager in awhile. Hope everything is ok and she will be back soon.

Yamas is my new favorite restaurant in Winston-Salem. It’s a super fun place to visit, and the Mediterranean food is simply incredible. Do be mindful that it’s gets really busy at lunch, so much so that it’s hard to find a seat.

I loved the variety of toppings to choose from for my wrap. I was especially happy with the vegetarian choices. Everything tasted so fresh! The place seems to be run by some good people. Also, the specialty drinks are sweet but they're so good!

Mediterranean street food... I like it. Served by an actual Greek guy. The flatbread is soft and delicious. The gyro meat was tender and flavorful. I will be returning.

The food is light but really satisfying and tastes great, too. Plentiful options, reasonable prices and the staff was friendly and helpful, not to mention patient with my indecisiveness. They even allow tastes of items you might not be sure about. (White chocolate babaganush, anyone?) I'll definitely be back.
