My debit card wouldn’t work. They still gave us our items and allowed me to go to the ATM. Very appreciative of that! And the churros and ice cream was delicious!

Food is awesome and prices are good. Staff could be nicer. Parking could be better but still a must try. Credit cards not accepted cash only or debit card....update....credit/debit cards now accepted!

We used to walk here all the time and miss it so much. Our kids loved the Churros, we did and we would get a vanilla ice cream scoop for our pup. Really great place.

If you love churros look no further. They're always warm and the fillings are plenty and delicious. Doesn't get too busy but there is no public restroom.

The only reason why I had left the warmth of my home was because I had seen a picture of their peppermint christmas milkshake and I wanted to try it. It was 100% worth it, it tasted delicious and you have the option to buy the cup. I want to go back and try more of their drinks.

This are simply the best churros in the city of Chicago, period.Why did it take me so long to find this place, though? not that I am crazy about churros, but where I'm coming from, it is a special dish for very special occasion.Now, for those special occasions, I know I can count on Xocoatl for my fix of cholotate churros, cream, or jelly. The site is rather small, and it seems designed to favor take out orders. Still, if you'd like to take a seat, there are 3-4 small tables to eat your churros. In that case, grab a 'cafe con leche' and enjoy the ride.

Another guilty pleasure of mine, the churros and funnel cakes are freshly made in front of you. The ice cream taste soooo good and creamy and their lemonade is perfect on a hot summer day.
