It’s all-in-one kind of place. Sushi, surprisedly are GOOD! Just check the menu. The place is sort of urban style. Friendly and undeniably cool people who works there. Def going back, dragging a friend this time. My mother lovingly approved of this place, Irish she is!

Perfect for date night ! Some of the best sushi I have ever had and the atmosphere is really intriguing. Definitely one of a kind type of place ! Would definitely recommend!

This place was a pleasant surprise. The menu has a great amount of versatility, offering everything for everyone. There are 4 levels 2 bars and a lounge.

Used to LOVE this place but the quality of food and service have seriously gone down over the years. Sad they auto-add gratuity; I'm usually a generous tipper but when a server can't care less about my experience and still adds a tip for herself, then I don't feel inclined to add any additional gratuity. This place used to be so great... I used to brag about it. No more.

This place has a cool ambiance. I liked the self seating concept and the little room in the back of the third floor with the nice booth spaces. My friend and I met up here to have Asian fusion, but I kind of wish I had stuck with brunch options. The pad thai I had was ok, but I felt it lacked something... maybe more vegetables? I did read that the French toast is awesome so if I revisit this spot, I'll make sure it's during brunch hours and go with that instead.

Breakfast all day! This is a solid breakfast option in the historic Mt Vernon area of Baltimore. The food is good, and they offer a decent range of options. While I haven't had it, they serve sushi. The decor is very Baltimore with the exposed brick, steel and wood fixtures. They have a nice hot and cold drink menu. The service is prompt. The prices are a little higher than you might expect. Nice display of the place just okay though. Our waitress was friendly so that was nice. I didn’t eat at the restaurant though because something happened prior and i lost my appetite but i ate it a couple hours later and i knew it wouldn’t taste fresh but the way the chicken tasted it had no flavor and the waffles weren’t anything special maybe it’s better when it’s warm but to-go/takeout was not the way to go!

Unfortunately, not what it used to be. The volcano roll, where completely dissatisfying from what XS use to serve. The outer fried layer was doughy and taste like pancake mix. Not crunchy and a clean bite. The eel sauce taste like syrup. The only thing mediocre was the hot mayonnaise. And the service was good nice people, but food was a 👎🏽. XS please go back to your normal cooking standards. I discovered my love for sushi at your restaurant now I have to look elsewhere to satisfy my cravings.😔

I've always enjoyed XS. Our waitress was great. Friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The restaurant easily and quickly accommodated our large and misplaced brunch group. I had a special, Apple Jack french toast. The French Toast could have been soaked longer, and the apple jack cereal should've been blended, and the French Toast should have been dipped into that mixture and cooked. Bacon and eggs were perfectly cooked. It was only a few whole pieces of cereal seemingly pressed into the bread. Be wary of sitting on the 3rd floor, your food travels 3 flights of stairs, so items like bacon, fries, and eggs, that loose heat quickly won't be hot when they get to you. Burgers, omelets, sushi, and Waffles are always a good bet here. Mixed drinks are good. Definitely a safe bet.

Good place, good food. This is the first time I've come back in almost 4 years and I can definitely tell a change. They don't seem to care anymore about appearance. The place seemed a little messy and out of order and it didn't have that unique charm that it had before. The food was good and it came out super fast and the drinks were decent. The only complaint I had was that the calamari was cold.

Sushi and breakfast here is amazing. Live music on the weekends. Dessert is phenomenal, little strawberries in tuxedos are usually my go to but there is a chocolate lasagna that is amazing as well. The flavored coffees are so tasty and they add little pictures with the forth since most the people working there are art students. Very relaxing place to go for food and a great environment.

Great food and atmosphere... but if you're going to include gratuity on a Saturday night for a table of 2, you should tell people. Not cool.

This is my favorite hangout. The food is great and the liquor selection is fire. Such a nice place to chill with friends, eat, drink, and enjoy yourself downtown. The area is nice and clean as well. I truly love going here.

Great atmosphere, very unique, 4 floors. Mediocre food. Chicken sandwich was very well done and dried but salsa flavor was good.
