Xi'an Famous Foods

casual takeout or dine in. delicious xi’an noodles. i had their lamb cumin noodles. don’t care for the meat but the noodles were chewy and perfectly flavored. love their salad too! it compliments the oily spicy noodle dishes well.

Xi'an Famous Foods is now one of my favorite food places in NYC! I ordered Pork Noodles (order item N9 from the menu) and the noodles and pork were delicious! I asked for Mild level of spiciness, but you can choose to go for Little Spicy or Very Spicy as well (or not spicy at all if you wish). The portion was very satisfying. Other than that the place was rather casual, very affordable and clean. Xi'an Famous Foods will stay on my map of awesome foods in NYC for good!

I enjoy a nice handmade noodle place. I got the vegetable noodle dish...the noodles are made as you pass by, they are wide and thick. As much as I liked the noodles, I wasn't feeling the dish as a whole since the flavors and some of the vegetables aren't my thing. It's worth a try to experience it, but it's not somewhere I personally would go again.

Really yummy and fast! We got one veggie noodle and one veggie soup noodle, both of which I recommend but I preferred the regular noodle. The noodles are the perfect level of chewy and there's a lot of flavor. Definitely spicy. I've returned a couple times to various locations if I need a quick dinner.

Delicious food! The noodles are made right in front of you too. I would have expected to pay a lot more for the quality of food and service. Most of the menu's items are $10-$13.

The noodles here are perfect!!! This is the perfect hole in the wall type of joint that you almost don't want people to know about...you want to keep it all for yourself. Went to try the spicy cumin hand ripped noodles with lamb!!! Loved them for sure...but actually came out loving the spicy hot oil seared hand ripped noodles just as much if not more (and for an avid meat eater that is really saying something...as the hot oil seared noodles have no meat). Just writing this review is making my mouth water!!!

We were super excited to check this place out with all the social media attention it's been getting, and it definitely did not disappoint. We ordered the lamb noodles and the meat was so tender, the noodles were delightfully chewy, and the sauce had a great heat to it. The only thing is that the noodles were a little too salty and greasy for my liking.

Awesome food but cheap price!! Enough seats in this store, no tips and sort of self service. I really like pork burger and every beef noodles. Please ask for normal option if you cannot eat too much spicy.
