Wow Korean Restaurant

Food and service is always great. I come here all the time and never be desippointed.

I almost forgot how good this spot is. The rice is pressure cooked one by one. Soups r amazing.

Hadn't had Korean food in a while, and have had mixed results with Korean restaurants in Sauga, so Wow was a pleasant surprise.We ordered bossam (steamed pork belly), seafood pancake, and kimchi soup. The food was tasty and well-portioned, and had that home-cooked goodness you can only find at smaller mom-and-pop places.It's clear that the owner takes great care in preparing the food and making their guests feel at home. The restaurant is spacious and comfy.I think I've found my go-to Korean restaurant!

Came here with a few friends on a Friday night and they were quite busy. The server (and potentially owner?) was a bit too eager for us to order as we were still waiting for our last friend to come.Anyhow I had a gamja-tang and the flavour was spot on. Not too salty and not overly spicy as well, just the way I would like it! It came with purple rice and the standard banchan.We ordered the fried chicken (did not take a picture) and it came with fries. My friends and I definitely did not love it as it was plain and the batter was too thick. (it's hard to compare to shops that specialize in fried chicken nowadays) overall it's 4+ stars!

Enjoyed the food very much. Wholesome and hearty food at fair prices. Staff is super nice and friendly. Our food was served very timely and our tea never empty. I would definitely be returning here. I highly recommend this place!

Worst customer service! Never be deceived on the number of stars! We could have never give 1 star at all if there's such an option!

The food is good. We order potato pancake, tofu soup and bibimkap. It tastes pretty good. But their service is a bit slow.

Great little family restaurant

Don’t let other people’s reviews fool you, this is the best Korean restaurant I’ve been to. This cute mom and pop shop makes delicious, authentic Korean food (I should know, I’m Korean) and is very generous with portion sizes. I can’t sing enough praises about this place! If you in the mood for some good traditional style Korean food, this place is a great place to go!

I have been going to the Wow Restaurant for over 10 years and I have experienced nothing but the best service, warmest welcome and consistently good, authentic, home-cooked food at very reasonable prices. I always look forward to visiting the Wow and am happy to continue to support a truly excellent small family run business.

First time having Korean food. Small quite place. Ordered chicken soup. It came with sticky rice and lots of small pickles and stuff.

Wow is a real pleasure visit.much less crowded than owl of minerva and also has a better selection of side dishes. One thing that youll get here for sure is hot food. They keep everything in heated containers.

This is the kind of moms and pops shop we should keep - the owners are super sweet and welcoming, the food is very hearty and light (if you are looking for heavy oily stuff this is not the place), the whole restaurant is very clean and quiet. We come here once or twice a week.They don't put MSG in their food which is healthier than many other places in town.

Best service/ taste like home made korean food!!

My first time to go here with my friends. I must say we were fooled by the reviews about this restaurant. The food was just ordinary,not even savoury. We asked for water and they gave us a pitcher without glasses and we even found a hair strand on the pitcher.We just ignored it and did not even bother to complain.My friend ordered beef without rice but still they charged her the price for a whole meal.The guy,I am not sure if he is the owner is shouting on the side,beside our table.When we are on our way out,the lady on the counter shouted at us in a very louuuuud voice and told us that we did not give tip! We did not bother to give tip because we were all disappointed with the kind of service and food they are serving! Tip should not be forced right? Because if we are satisfied with the way they treat us,we will automatically give tip. That lady has no customer service training at allllll! 2 thumbs DOWN for thisWILL NEVER GO BACK!
