Great music and food. The wait staff was so friendly and helpful. Great place to bring the family. I absolutely love the atmosphere. Super retro! I highly recommend.

Such a unique location in the heart of Nashville. Service and atmosphere were great. However, the breakfast nachos were not as great as they were made out to be.The “chili-rubbed†tortilla chips were soft rather than crunchy when brought out, probably due to the fact that it was literally enchilada sauce dumped on chips. Besides that, WW was a very enjoyable experience.

Upscale diner and so much more, simply delightful.Plenty of food, wine and cocktail options. This is a fabulous concept and is professionally staffed with knowledgeable and friendly bartenders and waitstaff. Evenings can be busy but afternoon visits on the weekends are wide open. We have never had a bad or even average meal here-always fabulous.Woolworth on Fifth is located only a short, worthwhile walk from Broadway. Swing dancing downstairs is such a great draw. Check the schedule!

Enjoyed our server Jordan! Friendly and happy! I am notoriously indecisive so I love asking servers what they like from the menu. Her recommendations were very delicious! Enjoyed the overall feel of this restaurant. I always have friends asking me where they should go when they come to Nashville so this will definitely be on the list of recommendations!

Amazing burgers, very historic, food and service amazing. A waitress made me something even they didn't have the machine to make it easier. Above and beyond.

My wife likes to go down town once every few weeks and honestly most of the places are way over priced and the food is just not that great. I do it for her, but most of the time I walk away feeling I just paid way too much for an average meal. This place though was very good and the prices were reasonable. I had the salmon and my wife had the catfish. Food was very good and our server was friendly and quick. Will definitely eat here again!

Great atmosphere, meal and service. We enjoyed the historic touches at Woolworth such as the black and white photos and videos playing on the big screen. We loved the music which was fun and not too loud. We sat at the counter it was comfortable. Definitely a good place for cocktails and brunch. The food was really good without being overpriced. We had the eggs, grits and ham bowl and the dime burger and fries. Then added a side of pimento cheese- very good a not too sweet. We then decided to share a hot fudge sundae which was served in a classic glass dish with pecans, whipped topping and a cherry. The service was attentive without hovering. We will certainly be back. I’d love to see the tables cleared for some dancing- east coast, lindy, etc.

I picked this place to get dinner mostly because of the name and I liked the menu. When we got there, they had an event going on, so I asked if there was a dress code, but there wasn't. For dinner I got the patty melt with sweet potato fries and it was really good. The atmosphere was good and our waiter didn't come around a bunch and ask if we were good, he left us alone, which is what I prefer, so that was nice too. It's a big space with a couple bars and there's a mezzanine level. This would be a good spot for a party.

Food and the service was great. The fried green tomatoes were outstanding. It's really nice that they kept the old decor, so we were able to talk about the sit-ins with our oldest son.

Hot chicken is very good, but the best thing about this place is the stories it carries that propelled the fight for equal rights.

Great food and great service. Fried green tomatoes are great. We had jambalaya and shrimp and grits. All was super quality. Definitely recommend this place. The price was very good too.

Good food in a fun atmosphere. I didn't care for the fish but the meatloaf was great. Good service.

Put this on your list! A native on our flight said to check this establishment out for the best "hot chicken" in Nashville so we did. The history is remarkable, the food delicious. Take some time for this very symbolic place.

This might have been the best pot roast I've ever eaten. Melts in your mouth, so flavorful. I ate at the counter, and the service was excellent. I also had the Shopper's Delight cocktail. Yum. What a treat! And the 50s-era soundtrack completed my nostalgia trip.

Loved this place. The old counter is so cool and the food was great. We had the meatloaf, pot roast and catfish and each dish was perfectly prepared. It was worth going out of the main downtown area.
