The pastries and desserts here are amazing! The sandwiches are good too. The coffee was a bit strong... What am I complaining about?

On a cold Winter day, a nice hot mug of their "honey lemon ginger" really hits the spot.

Food is good, space is somewhat limited but still enough to feel comfy. Worth a visit.

Delicious local bakery (breads and confections) and sandwich stop. Locally sourced produce. Will bake items for celebrations. Great teas and coffee. Line always moves quickly. Great staff.

I got some delicious baked goods, and a sandwich. It was very good even though my order was almost messed up, but it was fixed.

I have a bunch of dietary limitations. When I walk into Woodstar, I see a plethora of delectable options. Gluten free, vegan, sugar free... You name it. Maybe I'm biased but I don't think the favor has suffered at all from the missing ingredients. There is a fitness muffin that I would call in to reserve. A chocolate hazelnut cookie that ignites the little gremlin in me who wants a whole batch. A sugar free gluten free peanut butter cookie. Lately, I've been coming in and ordering the soup of the day for breakfast which has been a nourishing way to start the day. There's a large photograph of the staff in dressy black, red, and grey clothing. It's a compelling portrait. You can see comraderie. You can see pride. I think about what the parameters were. What were they doing before the photo. That did they do afterwards. Regardless, I see the same faces as well as some new ones when I arrive for breakfast.

Among the best bakery cafes I've yet ventured into. The sweets - vegan, vegetarian, or otherwise - are outstanding. The sandwiches are diverse, generous, and very inexpensive. The ingredients are all quite fresh; Some of the best pesto I've ever had between two slices of bread as well as a memorable smoked tofu grace this bakery's menu. I must suggest the Berkshire Sandwich and the vegan Chocolate cupcake topped with raspberry buttercream. Moreover, to wash down your plentiful meal, a steaming cup of coffee or tea, of which there are many and some of rarity, won't set you back. I may have found my new favorite sandwich shop.

I only had a few minutes to stop in and study and there was a long line, so I was worried... but I was able to get my dirty chai and peanut butter choco cookie from the friendly staff and sit down at an open table within five minutes! It seems like they have the right amount of people working there to handle busy mornings, and the atmosphere is so comfortable. I'll definitely be back!

Nice outside seating area. Get here early to beat the crowds, it gets very cramped. Avoid the mini quiche as they won't or supposedly can't re-heat it which doesn't make sense. No one wants to eat cold egg on a crust. Perhaps they could just take that off of the menu. Any kind of lemon bar, apricot bar etc. is usually a win. Coffee is nice but not mind-blowing. They deserve credit for their extensive selection of baked goods if nothing else.

Hands down best espresso in the valley, and the green and carrot smoothies are amazing. The sandwiches are packed with healthy local fare and very good. I usually grab the Nantucket or a bagel with lox. They have packaged tea breads at the counter too that can make for a nice gift.

Questions & Answers

Yes, PW: bestbakery

They can make amazing largenor small cakes with 72 hours notice.

I have seen chocolate coconut cake donuts (gluten free) and banana walnut cake donuts, however they are not in the case every day

There are always at least a few things that are gluten free, as well as vegan things. Beverages all have dairy free options.

Yes - but between mealtimes is best as it can be quite busy and people are waiting for tables. Evenings are great for this.
