Winnie's Tavern

I have to agree this is the best burger joint in NC. We live in NY and heard about this place and decided to give it a try. Delicious traditional Winnie burger was outstanding as well as the fresh cooked potato chips. Interior is surprisingly beautiful as the outside is plain. Wonderful, friendly staff. Very clean and a nice friendly atmosphere to enjoy a delicious meal. Highly recommend Winnie's Tavern.

First time in this place. The burgers and home made chips were the best I think I have ever had. It's small but worth trying. The service was excellent. I will definitely be back.

Everyone told me "go to Winnie's"... it was very, very good. Not the best I've ever had but would definitely go back.Had the bacon cheeseburger with bbq sauce. The garlic fries were good but the chips are better.
