Windsor Rose Tea Room & Restaurant

We had a wonderful time. The atmosphere is cozy and traditional. The staff is friendly, fast, and courteous. The tea, sandwiches, and pastries were divine. We will be back for sure.

High recommend coming. The food was fantastic, and so was the tea. Everyone in my party LOVED the food. Also the staff is very friendly. I had the chocolate hazelnut tea, and loved it so much that I bought some to have at home. I wish I lived near Mount Dora, or I'd come here all the time. I will stop in if I'm every in the area again. Thank you!!

Very cute place. An enormous tea selection, never seen a menu like that, they have it all and then some! Food was very good too and service was quick and friendly. Decor was fun to look at. I guess the only con is that I didn't see any fish and chips. For a British place thats a must

I once owned a French tea room in Ocean City, NJ. Certainly one of the best parts of my life! I discovered Mount Dora in an antique magazine. It took two and a half years, but I finally made it there. I went to the Windsor Rose for their Saturday Big Breakfast. What a delight! The food, scrumptious! The decor, English and interesting. The tea menu, complete and perfect! Along with the cottages and downtown, I now understand why it is referred to as Mount 'Adorable.'. Don't leave without visiting the Windsor Rose!

I loved the atmosphere, service, and food. I had French onion soup and salad, my husband had The English Cornish Pasty. Both were wonderful. The tea was my favorite part! (Tons of options) We had the Yorkshire Red. I didn't make reservations, but thankfully was able to get a table on a busy Saturday. I left already planning my return. I bought some tea to take home, I was eyeing a tea pot and warming cover on the way out. I can't wait to return!!

Nice atmosphere and very good food. I brought my Mom in for high tea on her birthday. It was fun and we are looking forward to returning.

An elegant but unpretentious hideaway for a special breakfast, lunch, or even an afternoon tea.

Service was a little slow but the food was very good. We had the salmon cakes, chicken salad and the chocolate cake. We will be back if we are in the area.
