The portions are huge and the atmosphere comfortable. Oldies diner theme.

This place and several other locations are NOT what they once were. Newmarket, OakRidges, Yonge St. Aurora are “dated”. Table jukeboxes have not worked for years. I understand (expense, overhead) ok. This evening I came in to this particular location 30min prior to their posted (door, google, website) closing time. I requested a chicken wrap, fries, rootbeer and was denied as the grill had already been cleaned. Ques que @¿%#??Scraping, scouring, wiping, the small area on the grill then cleaning the grease trap again obviously is an extremely daunting task. Sorry to inconvenience you. Perhaps my business will be appreciated elsewhere.

Great food, great service

I had sated an affordable breakfast, received excellent service from its warm staff and enjoyed its cozy ambiance. There are numerous adornments all over with character you find uniquely as well.

This place was the best breakfast restaurant in Newmarket my family and I went there for over 10 years love it until the owners sold the place We when there couple times with the new owner and it was a really bad experience Need to find a new family place

The place is dated, and not by the decor. Breakfast is okay but nothing special including the price.

We frequent Wimpys in Barrie, but thought we would try this Newmarket location. Food was good, service was really good. I would eat here again.

Very bad service they got my order wrong and had to wait 15 min extra while everyone else ate. Slow and poor service they need new wait staff and COOKS. I will NOT return.

Never cared about going to this place I used to drive past it at least once every two weeks, but my son said that his friends recommended​ this place. They said they had the best burgers. Finally decided to give it a try and after a long and rough day we decided to go. What a surprise!!! They have some of the best burgers we have ever had. Really delicious, lots of combinations and sizes... you can't really compete with that. Then when combining flavor, size and price there is nothing that comes close to it. They got first place. The service was equally great, our server was very helpful and friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone. I am definitely coming back to try the rest of the menu.

Friendly folk, consistent food quality and preparation. They don't mind if you linger with a coffee and the newspaper if you need to kill some time. 😎
