Willoughby by the Bay

Cute bar with great burgers and nice bartenders. Definitely feels like a local hangout, which is always nice! Came on a Sunday evening and it was quiet and comfortable.

I love love love the ambience, very cozy and completely comfortable!! Plus I love the food, the servers are great personalities!!

Great little seafood spot right at the end of Willoughby Spit!! Wait staff is so friendly, and the seafood stuffed baked potato was really good. I will definitely be back!!

Lindsay and Maddie were awesome behind the bar. Super reasonable prices on everything. We had the shrimp special, the shrimp looked like it was on steroids. Wings were awesome. Whole experience was beyond expectation.

Walked down from our AirBNB and we had an amazing group lunch! Scarlet, the manager, is extremely friendly...don’t hesitate to ask her about the daily specials and bar events- pool league, poker, live band, karaoke etc.We look forward to coming back!! Thank you Scarlet and amazing cooks!

Had an excellent meal here on Sept. 5, 2019, of some of the best soft-shelled crabs I have ever devoured. The bartender/server was efficient and made me feel very welcome. The few patrons in the bar area of the restaurant were equally welcoming and friendly to a visitor.

I was so happy when I found out a seafood restaurant was within walking distance of my new home. Then I started ordering: Ask for hot tea. It was warm and instant. Asked for a salad, clam chowder and salmon special with rice. Waited for an hour on my food. Salad was bitter. Only the tomatoes were enjoyable. Salmon had no seasoning and there was no lemons. Rice was ok. Clam chowder was ok tasting, but I should of stopped eating it when I found my clam chewy and my potatoes not up to par. So soon as I left my abdominal areas started feel weird. The continuation of that weirdness was diaherra. I will not be going there again and I do not recommend this place.

Food tasted good and was fresh and homemade. They were out of a few things that we wanted to try so hopefully next time they will have them. We were told that they get the truck on Monday late afternoon and we were thee for lunch. Overall I was pretty impressed.

I was going to meet a group of friends here after work today... but after reading these reviews of RACISM, UNPROFESSIONAL-ISM AND SUB PAR FOOD..... NEGATIVE! And I will definitely make sure to tweet about this place. hopefully no one else will patronize this establishment

Food was amazing, beer was cold, and everyone there was kind. I only did 4 stars because it was weirdly warm inside. But other than that it was great! Will be going back often!

I have lived 4 blocks from this place for 11 years now. Went for breakfast some years back at about 8 am on a Saturday. There were already contractors' drunk at the bar. My Bloody Mary was really good but VERY strong. I did enjoy the drink but not the working people just starting their work day. Found out later it gets crazy with the young after 9pm. So anyway, I had a guest in town s few years later and thought I'd give it another try. Sat at the bar...the bartender was obviously wasted, but she was handed a knife anyway and sent to cook. This chick was totally wasted and was trying to cut an onion. Anyway, we ordered some hush puppies with sauce. That warm, mayo based sauce was contaminated with bacteria and who knows what else. I had severe thrush for 6 weeks. WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!

I always have good laughs and meet great people there! Food is awesome too!

I like coming here but the cook (Ms Mary is her name) always seems to have an attitude if anyone orders within 30 minutes of closing and I have seen her fussing out the bartender because of this. The clock is always 20 minutes fast and I've actually been told that the kitchen is closed when in actual time it isnt. Food is decent

If I could give 0 star I would. Wost place we have ever ate in over 30 years. Walked in with only one customer present. We were not greeted at all. I had to ask for menu. Then we went and seated ourself. Dont know if being a mixed couple was the problem or not. When our food came out it was terrible. It tasted as though it was frozen and not fully cooked. The crab cake was cold in center. Only had 3 shrimps on the plate. The fish was not fully cooked. Do not go here. Worst place ever.
