How great it is to have a wonderful BBQ place so close and it even has a drive thru which is a great convenience.The meat is so tender and has a rich smokey flavor you expect of a quality BBQ. In particular my family loves to make sliders from the pulled pork with kings Hawaiian rolls. My parents favorite is the Brunswick stew which they must pick up when they come to visit us.They have a few choices for sauces but the sweet and sassy is my favorite to accompany the Smokey flavor of the meat.

Loved everything about this place. Stylish decor that was comfortable and welcoming. Clear passion about the food they serve and most importantly delicious! The smoked turkey and Brunswick stew are amazing. Only things keeping them from a total 10/10 in my book were the syrofoam cups and the collards greens could use a bit more seasoning (salt or something, not heat). Overall a welcome addition to the area overrun by uninspired fast food.

Just had a meal from Willie's and have left impressed. The brisket was cooked to perfection and plentiful. I would heartily recommend this place for all travellers on a budget!

Nice clean place, not what was expected. We had the brisket (lean) and 1/2 chicken platters, corn fritters and banana pudding. We got the 2 for $19.99 deal which included a appetizer and the banana pudding. We slso got the grape juice lemonade, which tastes exactly like it sounds. Food was good, big portions and we all had leftovers after. They also gave a drive thru which is really vonvenient5

Went today for the 1st time to try. I had the pork sandwich . They gave me a choices of 4 types of bbq sauce all delicious. The place is clean, friendly and my sandwich was yummy to my tummy. If you are looking for something different and good to eat I highly recommend this place.

The pulled pork and the turkey will melt in your mouth! Great bbq sauce. You can choose what kind you want. I chose the sweet and Smoky sauce! Definitely will be back again to try the ribs

I went for a yelp event. This was a fun experience. I like that we each got our own plate and got to sample the brisket turkey and pulled pork. My favorite were the brisket and the pulled pork. The turkey I actually ended up leaving because I was not a fan, although it was moist. Their mac & cheese was delightful and very warm. I also liked all the selections of sauces they offer for the meet. The fries were nice and crispy too. I think I would take on this place again.

It's ok. A lot better than Mission BBQ. WJ needs to cook over a real pit smoker rather than whatever they are using. Overall a good product. Most all the sauces appear to be fancy sugar water. I little bit pricy. Will purchase again.

Surprising very good place. Daily specials, tender meat, good sauces, good side options, and even have a homemade juice. I'll definitely come back. Oh, and staff is very friendly and helpful. It's hard to please me with good customer service as I've been in the industry for many years and have a high bar.

Very good place to eat if you don't have to much time for lunch. Fantastic meat.

Quick, consistent, high quality, and fresh-tasting BBQ. The ribs are juicy and meaty, not dried out and hard. Good sides... nice hush puppies. For the money, it's a great value.

Highly recommend!Staff is super friendly and make sure you are happy with everything.Collard Greens are off the charts good!Coleslaw is amazing, crisp fresh and not drowning in sauce.Ribs - Fall off the bone good!Sauces - This was my only "meh" a little too much vinegar for my taste.

If you absolutely hate chicken, and how tough and chewy it is at some places then you should definitely try Willie Jewell's chicken... Your mind will be blown at how awesome chicken can be when it melts off the bone into your mouth as a delicious heap of poultry goodness... The best chicken I've ever had.... Right here in Tampa. The ribs I had were also quite delicious, and the only thing that could make them better would be more.... I'm so stuffed from my visit that I'm not sure how I'll be able to eat again because the portions you get outweigh the cost... I'm one of those guys that likes to get their monies worth and this place takes the cake. The sauces need some work though. The sweet BBQ sauce is the way to go as far as what's available. Willie, touch up the sauces and you got it made!

Whether it's the chicken the brisket the pulled pork or the ribs. I like it all! And the prices are reasonable too!
