Williamson Brothers Bar-B-Q - Canton

I know this place is well known, which is why I wanted to eat here. I travel a lot and like eating at local places, but not here after this experience. I ordered a simple BBQ sandwich and was literally brought a three-rack of ribs on top of two buns. That's it. Not pulled from the ribs. Not even with BBQ sauce. And the ribs weren't even tender. I was baffled but tried to make the best of it since I don't like hassling people with sending food back. The waitress could have at least asked what kind of meat I'd like because I honestly would have said pork, given the option. But now I wonder what cut of pork would have came on the dish sitting on top of the buns? Sorry, but I won't be back.

The barbecue is actually pretty good. However, they were a bit strange in not wanting to accept my gift card for payment and thus, I had to use a regular card to pay. This is the only restaurant that I've ever had a problem using a gift card and this was the second occasion of that problem at this restaurant.

I love to eat here. Their prices are high, but the food is good. You can see the picture of how big the portions are. There is another location in Marietta that we eat at too. We ordered a large amount off food to go this evening and decided to pick it up on our way home to Calhoun. The hostess was extremely rude. It is disappointing when you spend a lot on food and the person you pay and pick your food up from makes those few minutes a bad experience. She also did not give is silverware or napkins, saltines for the stew, or any BBQ sauce. Not sure if we will go back here again.

Their BQ is delicious and their sauce is so good! Friendly service. Nice place to take family and friends!

Definitely NOT a fan of this BBQ joint. The food is just not anything to write home about, if you know what I mean. Service was good, though. Friendly and attentive to our crowd.

HORRIBLE management! Won't refund my money because I won't drive over 2 hours to go back there physically. They refuse to refund my money over the phone. Lied and told me it was against the law to take a credit card over the phone, and that it was my fault that I didn't tell them I was allergic to MSG. I've been eating their ribs and buying their sauce for years (both wonderful). Why would I know that they would soak their brisket in another company's sauce?!!? (Dale's Seasoning) I thought they would use their own.And when I'm in the area (I now live far away), I get to-go. I decided to get a pound of brisket for a change, but discovered when I got home that I couldn't eat it due to being chock full of MSG, which makes me very sick. They will only give a refund if I drive back there, which I don't have time to do. They have just lost my faithful business, and I will tell everyone about my awful experience.

Great food and excellent customer service. Jake was an exceptional waiter. Make sure to try the Brunswick stew and banana pudding.

This is one of the best places for BBQ in the area and has been for many years. You can't drive by here and smell the aroma in the air without going in.. Great food. Fantastic service. Consistently the best forever. Would recommend it to anyone.

Terrific! Killer ribs, extraordinary Polish sausage (kielbasa), very good (not killer good) brisket. All pork too. Love this. Sides were great... Onion rings crispy crisp! Mac n cheese delish. And our server, Kendra, who said she's been there for a few years was so attentive and fun. The ONLY thing missing is horseradish for the Polish sausage.

The Canton location, in my experience has been way better than the Marietta location. There is plenty of room, I was afraid being a Sunday and the outside looked really busy, but they were easily able to sit a party of 11 quickly. The waitress was so nice and helpful!! The decor is a little dark, but guess that's how it is for a BBQ place. Chairs are not really made for fat people, after 30 min, they are a bit uncomfortable, but not terrible. Booths and tables available. Got a pulled chicken sandwich. Was amazing. Nice and Smokey, not fatty and not stringy. Simple bun. Side if potato salad and okra. The potato salad was tangy and sweet and creamy, contains eggs. Very good potato salad!! There house sauce on the table is amazing, vinegary with a touch of heat. They don't keep the other BBQ sauces out on the table, you have to ask for them. Overall great food and good experience.

Scrumptious and Smokey. Pork and brisket is to drool and die for.Don't do the Mac n cheese or fries though. Disappointing but edible.Try the stew or the veggies instead.We waited for about five minutes to be attended but the server quickly redeemed herself and she was very pleasant. Love this place.

Best brisket I ever had.Fried green tomatoes very tasteful and without excessive grease. BBQ beans, some of the best I have. Waitress very helpful and friendly. Looking forward to my doggy bag tomorrow

Best BBQ around. When you first walk in, the relaxing atmosphere and warmth overwhelm your senses and you suddenly feel at home. You are then greeted by one of the excellent host and no matter how busy they are, there is barely a wait time. The waiter/waitress is then fast to your table side for a drink order and appetizers. Drinks and appetizers appear on your table so fast that you barely see them dropping it off. Once you select your main course, the server brings out any sides or sauces you may need and then WHAM! Your food is sitting in front of you. Best part about this place is the food! Taste like god himself had been smoking the meats all night just for you're individual taste buds. If you have room after dinner, they have awesome desserts that I am certain line the streets of heaven. Then you receive the check and begin planning the next trip to Williamson Bros.
