The Fried Scallops are wonderful! I've never had them fried and I'm a huge fried shrimp lover, and that was delicious too! But the fried scallops were amazing.You get one trip to the salad bar. The potatoes salad and macaroni salad are outstanding.The view is so relaxing. The restaurant is very casual and unpretentious. The staff was wonderful. I can't wait to go back.

Any place that greets you with a basket of fresh hush puppies is okay in my book. We enjoy this waterfront restaurant, not for the gourmet food, but for the location, the friendly staff and the reliable staples. They do have good fresh, seafood. Hubby loves the soft shell crab sandwich. The salad bar is a little strange, but it draws a lot of locals and is a fun place to stop while exploring the area. We love watching the osprey while munching on our hushpuppies!

This was the best crab cake I have had in over a decade! The crab cake was the perfect blend of spices, breading a huge pieces of crab meat! The cocktail sauce is great and the salad bar is well stocked and huge! The hush puppies were great as well. The service was extremely friendly, prompt and helped guide the meal perfectly!(A++ Melissa) The view is wonderful and the restaurant is clean.

It wasn't the best seafood buffet I've ever had but it wasn't the worst one either. The restaurant staff were very efficient, friendly, and kept the drinks coming. The staff also kept the buffet line well stocked too. Also, any place that gives you free hushpuppies as soon as you sit down has a special place in my heart. I will probably return if I'm ever in the area.

Loved the location... Beautiful waterfront... It is a simple restaurant with very good food... I will say that their price is high and it will be their downfall... I am not here to criticize their prices but rather to critique the food... They had amazing hush puppies... The seafood was spot-on... We loved the food and experience as well as the amazing service. We would love to go back there in the summer... Wonderful and simple place... This review based on the restaurant being a simple restaurant on the water... This is not a glamorous restaurant but a wonderful one

A great place to eat seafood cooked to perfection. Had the fried seafood, and was very pleased to see it was very lightly breaded and not all breading. Hush puppies were good (I like a tad more onion in mine) Salad bar was good, I wish they had spinich as an option, but choices were still good! Our waitress, Melisa, was absolutely professional and courteous. She make my first visit here for dinner that much more enjoyable.

The best crab soup he's ever tasted to quote my husband. We took the family to enjoy time together. The place is always clean, service was super, food wonderful. To get that doesn't come cheap anywhere. Just because it's in Colonial Beach, doesn't make it a crab shack. Wonderful place to eat. You get what you pay for, portions are large.

I really loved this place! We ordered a lunch special combo and were pleased that it was so good and such a good portion. I expected something smaller since it's seafood and lunch special price but to my surprise it was a lot of tasty food!! I will definitely go back! Service was very good too!! The pic was taken after I had started eating already so you can see it's a good size!
