I picked up take out and it was delicious!! We’re under a Shelter In Order right now and Wilde took many steps to ensure it was a safe pick up. Everyone there was in masks & gloves, they had paper towels to use on the door handles and even sanitized pens. They also included an ‘ever clear wipe’ to use on the containers.

Good food ... good atmosphere.... good prices .... good service ... I’ll go back

Cozy library decor focusing on the life of Oscar Wilde invites the guest to relax and enjoy a pint or two. Delicious items on the menu my wife and I have enjoyed include juicy hamburgers, sweet potato fries with maple syrup, deep fried cod with peppered tartar sauce, tender asparagus, and comforting french onion soup. Try the awesome key lime pie from a bakery in Edgewater!It does get noisy on weekend nights--arrive early to get a table.Enjoy!

We had a great comfort food-filled brunch at Wilde! We started with the Wilde mac n cheese small plate, followed by the spinach artichoke omelette with a side of grits and bangers. Everything was just exquisite! Mac was equally flavorful and creamy, bangers were crispy on the outside, luscious on the inside. My mom said the omelette was the best she ever had, and I'd be inclined to agree. Irish cheddar elevated it. All topped off with a mimosa, it was a beautiful brunch for 2 for around $50 total.

This place is amazing. The shepards pie is by far the best I have had in Chicago. The drinks are great the food is amazing and the staff rocks. What more could you want. Oh yea more lol the restaurant itself is an awesome place. Very Irish

I usually go every year for my birthday and get the lobster mac and cheese, my friend gets the meatloaf, both awesome. We went for brunch and got the breakfast sandwich and to be honest it was just ok. The service was very good and our server was awesome this time. Almost everything on the menu is very good and the atmosphere is great.

Being a Kiwi, finding a good fish ‘n chips has always been a mission wherever you go. And the one at Wilde B & R definitely gotta be the best one I had outside NZ (unfortunately the chips was overcooked, almost burnt). Also love the atmosphere, very cozy. Overall great experience, a big high five to our waitress Molly! Thank you for being so attentive and friendly!

Not only was the food absolutely delicious, but during this pandemic, the staff was incredible. The team was kind, welcoming and service was quick! On top of that, we were surprised with some awesome PEEPS! Please keep supporting small businesses!!

An awesome neighborhood spot with a huge selection. This is my go to take out order - asian chicken salad is in my regular rotation. Dining in is great too - love to take my friends ands/or parents for brunch or dinner!

Amazing gluten free options! I tried croutons for the first time because I’ve been gluten free for my whole life, and best gluten free mac & cheese I have ever tried. This place has so many gluten free choices and healthy too. I am definitely coming back here and 100% recommend it.

Wilde is underrated and I always have a great experience every couple/few weeks I’m here with friends. It’s always easy to get into, food tastes great, good drink offerings, and consistently good service. They have great decor and bring a nice homey, neighborhood feel to the place.
