Wild River Medford opened in November 2006. We had been hearing from many Medford residents who journeyed up I-5 to enjoy the hospitality of our Grants Pass location. It was clear that a new location would thrive in Medford, and this was the opportunity to bring something new to the Rogue Valley restaurant scene. Wild River Medford specializes in authentic Old World cooking, made from scratch using only the finest ingredients. We make fresh dough every day for the pizza and calzones we bake in our wood-fired ovens. We also offer half-pound gourmet Angus beef hamburgers, hand-made pastas, delectable sandwiches on fresh-baked bread, and wonderful salads made with fresh local ingredients.

I guess I would say same thing as hundreds of other pizza joints. I had the cherry chicken smoked salad and not bad. The chicken was bit dry but definitely cherry smoked. This was my first time there and staff is very good, lots of space and I was with a large group. They did a great job, the others rave about the pizzas. I plan to go again to try the craft brewed beers.

Not quite 5 stars, 4.5. It is more than a standard pizza joint. Ambience is better than other local pizzerias, and they have there own beer and some decent cocktails, notably their bloody. Service is good. This visit I had the Cajun clam chowder, Caesar salad with blackened salmon, and Spirit of America za. Cocktails and beer were pretty good.

We have been here twice and have loved it both times. The beer is always good, and the food is amazing. Everything is made in house, including the pizza crust, pasta, and desserts. Pleasant and knowledgeable staff make the experience all the better. I would recommend Wild River to anyone and will most definitely be returning.
