Wicked Bloom

This is a hip, quaint neighborhood bar. Each time I've been was for a special event taking place there. That arrangement made for a DJ (great 🎶) & limited tables.On latest visit sat at the bar and had a friendly barkeep, but oddly, it took forever to receive an order of two tacos by whomever was supposed to be cooking. Most of the other patrons were drinking not eating, or else not consuming anything. They made up for it in portions, but the oversight kept me there for more time than I cared to spend there.

TJ and Marcus are awesome! So friendly, asked and remembered our names. Helped us decide on our meal with great suggestions. Daily punch (alcoholic) was a strawberry and mint infused vodka with white cranberry juice....AMAZING! House red wine was good. Dry but not too dry. Only thing as good as the service was the FOOD!Definitely try the wings! We had all four flavors. ALL DELICIOUS! I would highly recommend coming here! Best food I've had since I got to D.C.

I honestly haven't been to any other bar since I got here. Great staff, great food, great booze. What else do you need?
