Super funky setup, you go downstairs for groceries and stay on the level for prepared food. It was $14 for two smoothies that were atrocious. Just not a Whole Foods id go to more than once.

I don’t even know where to begin with how much I do not like shopping here. Unfortunately, it is the only grocery store in walking distance. For one, the employees can be quite rude and dismissive. Second, it is so difficult to find anything in this store because of its layout (don’t even bother asking an employee as you’ll probably just get a blank stare and a muffled response). Thirdly, it is so congested and cramped. Fourth, being a “prime member” really does not come with as many benefits as you may think it would. Even my Amazon fresh delivery orders have been wrong consistently. I will give it two stars though as I do believe they have nice things, though you’re going to pay a pretty penny for it. I recommend going only when you feel like you’re in a good enough mood to tolerate the mistreatment and uncomfortable feelings you’re going to experience to get what you need.

Mice infestation alert and this is not a joke. I have seen them here multiple times and one of the ladies working at the counter actually said that they have mice and don't know how to get rid of them.

This is my first time in this Whole Foods. Being a downtown store I didnt expect much but was totally blown away by the 2 levels and the genius use of space.Im sure you'd be able to find everything you want and need at this location. Looking for something? Ask a team member and not only do they tell you where it is but will personally guide you to it.I ordered a tall stack of pancakes, pork bacon and .5 liter water. It was pretty good for $8.58.

Having been to the Whole Foods in London was expecting great things. Admittedly didn't explore the entire shop but the ground floor was not well laid out and consisted of ok if expensive food. Coffee is not good by European standards

I have had several bad experiences but tonight was the worst. I don't understand how a cashier can be so rude and patronising. As karma would have it his cash register then fails and no apology and he keeps with the rude undertones. Is being treated with mutual respect too much to ask for? While there may be uncontrollable factors for long lines and stock shortages there is no excuse for unwarranted rudeness.

Since it's one of the only stores accepting university cash, I shop there. The main problem is it's wide variety of organic food that costs too much. There needs to be cheaper options considering we have a certain stipend for the semester. I'm not hating. If there is a change, I'll be the first to change my review. Till then, it's a two stars for convenience vs pricing. (also, as a note, I always try to get stuff on CVS instead since its much more affordable, but can't do grocery there sadly)

The worst run Whole Foods I’ve ever been to. The line for the checkout takes forever, and there are not nearly enough staff. You can literally be behind a line of 30 people (I’ve counted). This is unacceptable when the high volume times are totally foreseeable (lunch and after work). Please do a better job with the management of this location!

Some staffs are nice, some need to be trained. As a cashier, you should help bag and that is your job instead of rush to greet another customer. Also, there should be the checkout downstairs, the rush hour is terrible and almost every hour is rush hour because its location. Not only that, there is mess check out place I have never seen in my life! Some food are good bargains if you have the prime member. However, like other said, I found mold on the organic broccoli too! Terrible!Great place but wait too long, they should rearrange the waiting line and train some of their lazy staffs. The cashier never listen and super rude, always lack of stocking but the other staffs are nice!

Worst whole foods for customer service I have ever experienced. The cashiers never say a word to you. No greeting, no prompt, no thank you/good bye. Nothing. It’s like they are trained to ignore you. They’re so rude. And there is never anyone to help you on the floor. I don’t care how convenient it is, I am never going back there.

I was really disappointed that Whole Foods would sell a rotting strawberry in their fruit cup which costs $5.49 per pound. Won't be back.

Questions & Answers

No. The Whole Foods at 2201 I Street Northwest does not sell kale egg rolls. None of the Whole Foods sell them. They sell veggie egg rolls for $3.00 in the frozen food section. I have no idea why people keep telling you YES, unless they are not listening to the fact that you asked for KALE egg rolls.

Thanks. I was informed that the foggy bottom whole foods does not have a fresh juicer bar , they sell cold pressed veg juices in a platic bottle .

Yep! It's pretty good.

Not a clue.
