Still a fave after all these years! Although Judy W gave up control a while back, her philosophies and influence still pervade. Food was fresh, locally sourced, and amazingly delicious. Even the Brooklyn Chocolate Imperial Stout satisfied the "200 mile radius" rule! :)

Pretty cool dog-themed cafe in the heart of Philadelphia's University City neighborhood. Attracts a trendy crowd, as well as tourists and students from UPenn. Menu is trendy & there's an interesting wine list too. There are various ecclectic rooms decorated with dog paintings & memorabilia.

Absolutely amazing food coupled with an atmosphere of artistic proportions. Beautiful artwork displayed matched with appropriate backdrop colors which complement the environment. The food was excellent and served hot. Service was also great. For a party of 1-2, seating is not a problem however reservations are recommended for larger parties; this place fills up for dinners.

One of the original farm-to-table concepts, the food is fresh and perfectly prepared. Every room has a different eclectic dog theme. Even for Monday lunch, they had a good crowd, but the layout of the restaurant with a bunch of different rooms means it’s never too noisy. I went with a big group of 9 and got a reservation the day before. They do require most of the party to arrive before seating you. They offer a vegetarian menu and an allergy menu.

White dog is a large restaurant split into a variety of small rooms all featuring unique design elements. The food is superb. It has a classic farm to table American style. It would be ideal for special events with a small group.Small downside: The bathrooms are quite tiny and awkwardly arranged. The hand dryer above the toilet seats makes them wet when you dry your hands. This really needs to be fixed.

Went last night and it was great. The food and atmosphere were well worth the visit. Rivers, our waiter, was friendly and told us great stories about the restaurant on top of providing great service.

Beyond amazing; just a stupendous, delicious, unique experience of a restaurant! The menu (pictured) is expansive and every item has an interesting twist to it. Each room has its own theme, with different lighting fixtures, artwork, seating, and colors to make for a wild interior. Couldn't have been a better place to enjoy for my mother's birthday brunch!
