Whetstone never disappoints. They combine a high tech approach to hospitality with a down-to-earth homegrown approach to food and beverage. Some of the best ingredients used to make award winning food and craft beer. And don’t forget to sit out on the expansive Upper deck and enjoy background views of Vermont and New Hampshire along side the â€Twianish†Connecticut River.

We ALWAYS stop here on our way to leaf-peeping every fall! We love the atmosphere, the great beer and food, and the service with a smile! My son's birthday is always during the time we visit so we stop in for a birthday lunch and he gets lots of attention too. We are in MA and we can't wait to stop in again once all of this craziness is settled. Hang in there, friends!!!

One of my absolute favorite places to go when I'm in Vermont. I love all their food but especially the fries with different dipping sauces. Can't wait to visit again soon!!!

We hiked the Mountain across the street, and then crossed back over the river to have snacks and brews with a great view of where we'd just been. Good variety of brews and interesting comfort foods. I love the shirts and things they sell and we took some beer home. A nice afternoon.

This Gastro-pub is our favorite on the EAST COAST, not just Vermont. The food is expertly prepared with only the freshest local ingredients, great micro brews. The menu caters to both meat lovers, vegans and those with dietary restrictions. Good local people and attentive waitstaff. The outside dining and river view is a huge attraction in warmer months and the indoor fire place is cozy during colder seasons. This is a foodie-beer loving favorite! Quaint Brattleboro and easy walking distance to interesting shops and there is plenty of free parking a stones throw away from this gem!

Nice area. We ordered to go. The was was alright, it wasn't bad but nothing special.

Tanya the “happy server†was fabulous!! Loved talking to her! We had a party of 4. My portabella mushroom lettuce wrap was a 3 star. Husbands meatloaf was a 5 star. Atmosphere was lovely. We are out on the deck.

Took my boyfriend here for dinner and felt like I nailed it as a girlfriend. While he enjoyed a couple craft beers from their wide selection of brews, I had a delicious grapefruit cider. While the place screams “guy foodâ€, the menu is also varied enough to where everyone is guaranteed to find something not only delicious, but also wildly unique. If I ever come back to Brattleboro, I would surely come back!

My family’s favorite restaurant. The wings are the best around. Great beers. Service with a smile. I wish we lived closer so we could take advantage of the take out options. Highly recommend to anyone in the area.

The few times I have been the food and drink have been excellent. Service has been good but due to the crowded times we went, service was understandably slower than normal. Not unexpected large crowds mean good food and good times! Can’t wait for this Covid business to be over with so we can look forward to going back again!

Love this brew pub!!! I visited from Michigan a year ago and am just now leaving a review... I never leave reviews.... Drank a brew called the “Hungry Stonerâ€.... at least that’s my recollection. Some sort of collaboration between Whetstone and some brewers from Hungary. Turns out I’m Hungarian and a home brewer. So I asked the bar tender for the recipe. No way they would give it to me. She gave me the brewers email. Shot him an email and to my surprise he sent me the EXACT recipe!!! Awesome place/people!!! Just wish it wasn’t 14 hours away! Must see brewery!!

Great restaurant on the Vermont side of the Connecticut River looking into New Hampshire Mountains. Restaurant downstairs with good food that is fairly priced. Bar up stairs for a late night out on the town. Great beer menu that has amazing selection of local and import beers.

You absolutely CANNOT get a better farm to table freshly prepared meal without one of thier fine beers brewer on site. Service is the best, food quality is excellent, management goes out of the way to make an event or evening special if you let them know ahead of time, and the atmosphere is amazing. I hate to write this review, because it is just going to mean longer lines when we return! It's a short 1 hour drive from the CT/MA line, hit yankee candle and or Kringle and make a date or a day of it!! Enjoy, and see you soon!

Great place for food and friends and drinks! The Whetstoner beer is my favorite! A great crew of people working there. Friendly vibe. When the weather is nice you can sit on the roof top deck. Best place to be on warm summer evening!
