This is a superb shrimp and grits with a wonderful sauce they make. I can say I have not had better shrimp and grits with such flavor. It is worth the trip. Service is great. Go and enjoy a very flavorful bowl of food.

Initially, I didn’t have a good experience starting with the Cashier who didn’t provide a greeting upon entry. After speaking with the manager Steven, he eased everything over and provided excellent service. I truly appreciate the follow up and ability to put paying customers first.

Great alternative to fast food. Fried fish and hush puppies are delicious. Oil used is fresh. Good coleslaw too. Quick turnover of tables, but they keep it clean.

Love this place... Their fried catfish is awesome!!! Their garlic greenbeans are good too, but when they say GARLIC, they mean it! Wonderful, local seafood place. Highly recommend!

Bite Squad delivered. Had the fried catfish entree with cheese grits, garlic green beans, and hush puppies. They provided the requested tarter sauce. Everything was hot. The catfish, grits and hush puppies tasted great. There was an issue with the liquidity of the grits...they should not have been runny. Also didn't like the garlic green beans...way more garlic than green beans. I wish that they would carry fried okra to make it a truly southern catfish dinner.

Good food and reasonable prices. Had the "new shrimp and grits". It didn't disappoint.

In terms of fast-casual seafood, I think Wharf takes the TLH trophy. Crystal River on North Monroe doesn't come close to it - and I think Fisherman's Wife also trails behind it. And, yes, I think it's entirely justified to compare those three. I'm likely leaving some other place out - but if I can't recall it right now, then that speaks for itself. The platters are always solid - and I almost always order the Panacea Platter (Shrimp, Oysters, Crab Cake, Mullet). Yes, it's $18 and that can be steep for a lunch order - but hey, you're getting Shrimp, Oysters, Crab Cake and Mullet...Clean, well lit, orderly, attractive, and several other adjectives that I'm forgetting at the moment.I'm here roughly bi-monthly, if not more often. I love it.

This place was great. High quality food in casual setting. I had New Orleans Shrimp and Grits. Loved it. The hush puppies were excellent. My wife had the new shrimp and Grits. Very tasty as well.Quick and easy. Counter order then sit down and they bring it out. Very good food.

My husband and I have been looking for some good seafood, "not fried," and we found it here! However, the price was more in line with a sit down and be served, fancy restaurant than order at the counter, small portions you receive here. $46.00 for 2 people for fast food was a bit extreme. My husband had 1/4th a piece of fish on his entree so, I of course have him most of mine! Crab cakes don't even come with a sauce so I didn't care for them. But, my blackened shrimp with rice were wonderful and the red beans and rice, well, maybe they're cooked different here in the south than Louisiana style! I prefer more bite and flavor! So, if you go order blackened shrimp and rice but expect to pay for it!

Wharf has moved a few times since I first started being a customer years ago. But I have always managed to find them. I think their food is reminiscent of my personal families cooking methods that I grew up with. I was born and raised in Florida so seafood has been part of my families meal plan since my first memories of dinner. I realize their idea of fried catfish dinners and grill blackened scallops are not what my dad could cook but every time I eat there I do think back fondly of my dad. The food tastes fresh, the portion is adequate and the flavors complementary. I recommend them to anyone who loves a cold beer or iced tea and a plate of hot well cooked seafood.

Stopped in here for the first time tonight. Mainly a takeout place with dine in option. I decided to dine in. You order and pay at the counter, and the food is brought to you. The staff is really friendly-a nice plus. I ordered the Destin platter, fried. It consists of a piece of grouper, a crab cake, a handful of shrimp, 2 hush puppies and 2 sides. I chose the natural cut fires and cole slaw. A little pricey for what you get, but not overly so. The seafood and fries were good-crisp, and not greasy. The coleslaw was just okay; basically cabbage and mayo without any special flavors. I ended up taking home a couple pieces of seriously good -looking chocolate cake-hope it tastes as good as it looks! Overall, this is a nice, casual place to grab some seafood. Nothing fancy, which is just what I want at times.
