Heard about West Wing Cafe on Trip Advisor before a trip to DC. West Wing really performed. Great salads, sandwiches and chicken noodle soup. Friendly folks too. Really recommended and walkable from the Natural History Museum area too.

Little deli tucked on 12th and Pennsylvania Avenue with nice hot subs albeit a little pricey. The #10 Veggie Panini was like a small caprese sandwich with slices of fresh mozzarella cheese, spinach, tomatoes stuffed between generous spread of fresh pesto and warm ciabatta bread. Where were the roasted red peppers? Oh well, the sandwich was tasty and didn't miss them too much. For $10, it was a bummer that potato chips or a small side salad/fruit didn't come with the small sub. I paid $1.75 for potato chips and $2.50 for a bottle of water. Really expensive! It was hard to justify paying $15 for a sandwich, chips, and water. Would come back if the lunch combo extended to all the panini sandwiches. Wish there were more delis and cafes in the city that made paninis!

Came here as a tourist for the first time in '12, been coming back every year. Food is plenty, prices are great (get the combo) and the service is fast.

Whether your visiting the mall on vacation or work in the area this is a convenient spot right off Pennsylvania Ave. Great breakfast and lunch spot. All sandwiches made with Boar's Head meats. Great selection of drinks and snacks. Don't miss the home made chicken soup. Now serving Bimibop. Catering available.

Quick service and generous with the cream cheese on my bagel but there were only two coffee choices.

I had walked past this place a million times and finally decided to try it. It is great! They have several good vegetarian sandwich options, and the guy behind the counter was able to recommend several to me off of the top of his head. So I went back for breakfast, and they have really good breakfast sandwiches too. Try the multi-grain bread for something flavorful and hearty.

Delicious Cajun turkey panini at a very reasonable price.

I stop in once a week or so to grab breakfast. Love the staff, so friendly. Many options for breakfast sandwiches, made fresh to order.
