Light, airy atmosphere with great food served in generous portions. I ate the Atlantic Salmon, my husband the Seafood Medley, and we were thrilled that there were kid-friendly options for our boys (yay for pizza, but be warned the Mac-and-cheese is just Kraft). The only odd note was that they seated us in the way back of an empty restaurant, right by the bathrooms; it felt weirdly snooty, especially for a place that serves their salmon with fries. But ooh! Those fries were good. :)

Classic dishes served right, plus tons of other options, in a clean, modern setting. All ages will find something perfect for their taste. Our kids loved the pizza. The side salad is well worth the extra $2 as it comes loaded with greens and veggies. Early diners (before 6 p.m.) enjoy a slight discount on some selections. Bonus: the bathroom stalls have added blinders. 10 points for Ravenclaw!

Very nice modern restaurant and good service 👍🏽. We started off with the calamari. It had a lot of breading to it and was just alright. However, we also ordered whole lobsters and boi was it good. Very juicy inside and cooked well. The clam chowder is typical as was the lobster bisque. We topped the night off with a blueberry pie. Overall, not bad but you can find identical meal combos elsewhere in the town for a bit less $$

Not cheap, but the atmosphere is pretty good and the service was fast. They had some kind of trivia night which the locals seemed to enjoy very much. We were a bit disappointed that there we no lobsters rolls, but make your own sandwich and Mac and cheese with lobster were pretty tasty. All in all, a very nice place in Bar Harbor.

Excellent place to grab authentic lobster meal. Mussels, clam chowder, lobster and of course blueberry pie. Excellent! Easy walk from the tender drop off stop when visiting from the cruise ships.

We had a delightful dinner here after a long drive down east to Bar Harbor. It was very kid friendly while still feeling classy and upscale. The restaurant itself had a very chic vibe. The seating looked out to the street and water - it felt somewhat "beachy". We ordered two different seafood pastas and they both were delicious. Don't forget to save room for blueberry pie and ice cream!

Best blueberry pie we’ve ever had and excellent experience overall!! We were in town from the Midwest and it was our first time lobstah cracking. Our waitress Alaina gave us awesome tips and no lobster meat was wasted! We also had gorgeous views of the harbor from the second floor seating.

The Lobster Roll with Tarragon Mayo was bomb! Also, try the brownies. They know what they’re doing here.

The West Street Cafe is an excellent place to eat in Bar Harbor. It is right on the main street and across from the Harbor. If you are on a cruise, it is a short walk to this location. If you are visiting Acadia National Park, this is an excellent choice for a meal. The food is delicious. The offerings are traditional coastal choices, including lobster rolls and clam chowder. We ordered both and enjoyed them. The ambiance is casual and modern. Go here!
