Fast, friendly sevice with a smile. Great food, and a really good portion is given. I would love to see how busy it gets in the summer. So, see you in about 6 months . 😊💕

While in town we visited here twice. Once to eat lunch and the second to watch a college football game. The owner was willing to figure out how to get the game available for us to watch. I TRULY appreciate the effort taken by the owner to make my experience the best possible. I would highly recommend visiting.

Great food. Good prices. But we (our climb teams and the Princess Cruise Line visitors) swamped/overwhelmed the staff. Fortunately we all had plenty of time to enjoy the eatery as they kept us happy.

Cold drinks. Honestly we never ate here. Just had drinks so can't comment on the food.

Burgers were pretty burnt, took an hour and a half to arrive, server was bitchy and never came around. One great thing about this place was the beer was pretty good. Also the feta fries were really good.

West Rib in Talkeetna is a casual, fun, local spot with delicious everyday bar food. My server was very welcoming and helped us with recommendations, she was spot on,the "Panty Peeler" a beer that boasts a powerful 10.5% alcohol, is smooth, somewhat citrusy, easy to drink, perhaps a bit too easy to drink, thus establishing the very reason for it's name. She was quick to serve our drinks and take our orders for dinner, I really enjoyed that panty peeler, it paired exceptionally well with the halibut tacos, the halibut was grilled to juicy perfection and laying on a bed of sweet coleslaw wraped in a blanket of corn tortilla. Then she brought out the hot sauce, O.M.G! Now this taco in not only sweet and juicy, but pleasently hot, my tongue is so happy! If I ever have the oppurtunity to visit Alaska again, I will go back to The West Rib, it is worthy of more than one night!

We had the worst service today. We had one person who didn’t get her meal, a pulled pork sandwich. Everyone else was done eating before she finally got her sandwich but no fries. ‘Fries were on their way”. Well....no fries ever came. We asked for the manager and no one came. We had to go to the bar to complain. No apology and no discount until we went to them. Still no apology but finally an hour later agreed to comp the meal. Customers do not appear to be a priority.

Awesome nachos topped with caribou chili. Has a pilsner to accompany and it's great !!

A wonderful, local eatery. The server was exceptional and friendly, and the Caribou burgers were amazing.

This was a great stop. One of the cheeped places in the town of Talkeetna but the food was great. I recommend coming a little before noon so it is not so busy. The fries are amazing and the caribou burge was very impressive. The porch was a great place to enjoy the sun and relax.

Caribou is very good and not tallow like as the wild one that I got near McGrath years ago. Service was great.

Great chili fries & hospitality.

Don't waste your time. Extremely slow service..walked in at 7 PM and it took awhile for our server to take our orders. An hour later and we still don't have our food. Servers seem to be flustered and unorganized. We asked for a pitcher of water and it didn't come. When my burger did finally come there was a hair in it.

Awesome food and awesome service! Get the fish and chips if you can.
