Loved it! Great service, delicious food. The vibe brought back so many memories! This is a unique place in michiana and i recommend everyone go at least once. There are different menus for lunch and dinner so make sure you go at the right time to satisfy what you are looking for!

I had the chicken herb and it was VERY delicious! The service was great as well. I recommend you come try it out. We will be back.

Food was pretty good, but took forever to come out. Also wanted more Spatzle. Classic Decor could use some upadating.

Fantastic soup (I had beef with barley) and the dinner was extremely SCRUMPTIOUS. Even the bread that they give you (very sparingly) was fabulous! I don't know how they got the herb chicken to melt in your mouth, but that's how it served! The prices were reasonable for what we ordered. Since we didn't know what kind of German beer we would like, we ordered the sampler. It was nice to have a sampler to choose from so we got to try 4 different beers.

A rare gem. The JägerSchnitzel is the best I have tried in the US. The streaming German music adds to the ambiance. And the fact that it’s not Schlagermusik makes me happy.The staff is freundlich and professional. The Bier is sehr gut!The value is exceptional. You won’t be disappointed. Try it, you will like it.

I am of German heritage, but I have never dined at an authentic German restaurant.To be honest, the only German food I like is bratwurst. I absolutely loathe sauerkraut. Yuk! lolI’ve known about this restaurant for a few years, but never dined there. My family and I wanted to have brunch at a new restaurant this morning. I remembered this place and suggested we try it.I was hoping they would be serving lunch at 11 AM (the time we arrived) because I wanted to try schnitzel. But, they were still only serving breakfast.Regardless, the food was quite delicious! Our server was friendly and the atmosphere was cozy.I had the Bauernfrüstük. It was heaven on a platter!I definitely recommend!

Fantastic find near the campus of Notre Dame; authentic, traditional, fresh food! A great dining experience! Sit down and feel like you are one of the family, enjoying dinner like grandma made it just for you! 👍👍💖🍾🥂Truly a hidden gem!
