WeatherVane is one of if not the very best Ice Cream Spots in Granite City. First off it's open all year long but it offers a wide variety of classics and some pretty good new flavours which if done right keeps them from ever being boring old ice cream that you'd only want once a year if you get dragged there on your day off! Nope! Not this time. Just try it in November or December, it's ice cream, it's not weird, it's awesome!!! Somebody finally gets it!!!

In The Past I Had Bad Experiences Waiting For Food For Delivery Orders & The Young Staff Playing Around. My Experience Had Went From A 1Star To A 5 Star. The New Staff They Have Are Really Nice & Always Have My Delivery Order Ready, Or If I Have To Wait They Bring It Out To Me. When I Come To The Window I'm Never Waiting There A Long Time Before I'm Helped Like In The Past. The Staff Now Is Really Awesome & Always Makes Me Feel WelcomeðŸ˜

I like to hit their specials.. Thursday $2 tacos, Friday $5 Sandwich and you can get fries for $1. If you like biscuits and gravy $3 for two. Plus they have great ice cream!!

The disrespect the owner had on these employee's on a busy night was so uncalled for. Its not their faults it was busy, if you didn't know they are just kids and quite frankly still in school that's hard on them enough. he needs a reality check rather, broke my heart.I am so sorry

Called and ordered 6 tacos, hamburger and fries, concrete and a soda. Was told 20-25 minutes. Sat for over 30 minutes and girl tells me they are waiting for the burger could I pull into a parking spot and they will bring it right out. Another 30 minutes the girl comes out it with the ice cream and drinks but stops at another car and talks, finally brings us our drinks goes back in to get the food. I live less than a half mile away. Came straight home and ALL of the food was so cold. Bottoms falling out of the tacos because they were so soggy and cold. I spent 41.00 and it was ALL a waste others than the soda and ice cream. I will NEVER go back there again. Damn shame all the young kids in there and this is the service you are providing.
