Watergate Market

Definitely recommend. The sandwiches are awesome and they're on about the best tasting hard rolls I've ever had. So glad I stumbled onto this place as a healthier alternative to the endless (but delicious) food trucks which are all over Emeryville. As others have said, the groceries are a little pricey but not outrageous. The beer and wine selection was impressive for such a small store, and they had pretty much everything else grocery and sundry-wise I needed. Both the butcher and the owner were very friendly and helpful. Five stars.

It's a decent neighborhood deli. You can order your typical deli sandwiches made to order or get some premade stuff like salads. There's also a self-serve hot plate area with stuff like lasagna and fried chicken (changes daily) with rice. I come here most often on Fridays when they fire up the grill and make burgers! It's nothing fancy, just your typical backyard burger, but it's better than McDonalds or Burger King.

While staying at the Hilton, we stumbled into the Deli at the Watergate Market, and were rewarded with delightful sandwiches and instant service. Outside seating and more scenic seating along the bay coast trail, across the street.
