Watan Kabob

I have been to this restaurant so many times and I have always been wowed! All the employees especially Tayeeb provide exceptional service! He went ABOVE AND BEYOND. Can not put in to words how great his customer service was. I highly recommend Watan Kabob to everyone ! You will not be disappointed. The food was amazing, the restaurant was so clean and the service was fast.

The quality of the food has gone down since it first opened. They are quite pricey. Be prepared for long wait times, especially during the lunch rush. The sauces are very nice and certain items on the menu are great.

Food is great. Customer service can definitely be worked on to be better. Lineups can be long. Would be great if they have a system for waiting to be seated. People just randomly wait by other's tables. Makes the people sitting and eating with family awkward and uncomfortable. Safe parking lot with usually good enuf parking.

I am very dissatisfied with this restaurant. They have missed the mark on meat the past 2 times. Very stingy with sauce, some containers were almost empty! The quality of food has declined greatly. Will not be coming back to this restaurant, there are many Afghan cuisine restaurants in mississauga, do not waste your time or hard earned money here. PS. I was at this location today. They are not promoting social distancing effectively, too many customers waiting inside. Beware!

The restaurant is busy but the tables are so dirty. This is the third time I’ve been here. The food is very salty, it tastes nothing like Afghan food. I think they are catering to the Pakistani clientele. The spices are a little overpowering. I ordered their version of Bolani. Absolutely horrible. It would be nice if they hired Afghan chefs to cook proper Afghan food.

They make an amazing firnee(white custard like desert) that is just what’s needed on a hot day. The amount given for the price is also better then other places. The rest of the menu is satisfactory.

They have decent kabobs. Fish is not all that great. Am not even sure if fish is traditionally part of Afghan cuisine. The place should be kept more neat and tidy. There are so many people behind the counter standing, I'm not sure what stops them from cleaning up.

Visited during COVOD-19. There was a notice on the door saying that customers should wear a mask; however it was very interesting that none of the staff were wearing masks!!! You would think that all staff handing food would wear masks for the safety of their customers!

Fresh Food full of flavor. Great atmosphere prices are reasonable. Only negative sometimes the wait is little long because they make to order. I want to give 4 1/2 stars but only can do 4. I recommend this establishment.

Amazing food!!! These guys know what they are doing. They are proffessional, reasonably priced, and the food is very good. It takes only 20 minutes for food to be ready when the place is packed which is impressive. Really enjoyed the food a d the experience overall.

Excellent food. Service was great even for fast food restaurant.Food is definitely not fast food. Check out there menu. Grilled meats and Kabob. Whole family loved it. Highly recommend you check it out!!Staff very friendly and will to accommodate.

Call and order ahead to avoid minimum half hour wait time. Food is average, but kabob is very good, chicken is on the hard side, rice and salad are bland. Prices are fair. Take out is better than dining in as the place is usually messy and the decor looks like a contractor had extra washroom Mosaic tiles from his last project that he reused on the walls and chandeliers must have been on some blow out sale because they have nothing to do with the rest of the design.

Horrible service during covid-19. Food took forever to arrive for takeout, the girls at the reception desk were super incompetent and one of them picked up the phone to say "we're closed" before slamming it down again. Food is good but I don't think I'm going back anytime soon. Lots of other great places nearby.

Unbelievable wait times for one dish. I waited 38 minutes for a tandoori chicken dinner. Food quality is great but with this kind of wait time order only the chaplie kabob from this location as it comes out in 20 minutes. Good luck with everything else. Only go here if you can't live with Afghan food
