Walrus Pub & Beer Hall

I have walked by this intersection many times when leaving Acc/Scotia Bank center. Finally noticed it glad we did. Nice craft beer selection. Looks like place would be great for dinner.

Slow service and food is not very good. I ordered the Big Mac n cheese and didn't realize it was basically a chopped up Big Mac from McDonald's mixed into macaroni noodles with a huge amount of special sauce

Fabulous place for a delicious drink and a bite to eat after work. The "Twiggy" was so refreshing, like a cross between a good Ungava gin & tonic and an Absolut Moscow Mule. We had the jalapeno cauliflower to start and shared the pepperoni pizza. Our friend had the steak (grilled the way she likes it) and fries with a delicious mixed greens salad with the perfect amount of a light, tasty dressing. The place has a great, busy vibe. I would definitely go back again. A great place right in the business area of Toronto.

I always see this bar on my way home from work and finally got a chance to go in! Good music, each section of the bar has a completely different feel, like you're in a totally different space every corner you turn, and somehow it all comes together! Their ivory room martini was very tasty, and the crispy cauliflower bites were as delicious as they looked. Will definitely be coming back here again for the atmosphere alone! Music was a little bit loud, so conversation on the patio wasnt the easiest, but for two people we managed.

Laid back, nice decoration. Recommend for an after work downtown. Chilling and relaxing guaranteed

Walrus pub has awesome staff and a pretty diverse crowd depending on the day you go. The staff are really kind, and highly educated on the menu. If you don't know what you feel like you can get quick for recommendations based on tastes you enjoy.

Been here a few times for both food and drinks. Amazing selection of beer. Cocktails are good too. Food’s okay, not bad. If you decide to have another drink or pay your bill, be sure to get someone’s attention half way through your drink or you’ll be sitting with an empty glass. If you don’t ask, they don’t acknowledge you.

Cool place in a great location, close to Union station. Service at the bar was a bit slow but the food was really awesome!!

Hopping place on a friday afternoon. Joseph the bartender was truly outstanding, and his customer service was spot on. Food was very good- had the shortib appetizer and the Walrus salad. Looking forward to going back

Great beer (including Henderson's Food Truck) and tasty snacks, in a cool pub with good atmosphere. Two thumbs up!

Not a bad place what's so ever, I had the buttermilk chicken app and it was phenomenal. However, the atmosphere is a bit confusing. It's a pub with not a lot of beer selections and dance music playing... Kinda confusing to be honest with what the clientele is. Didn't have a bad experience here but the atmosphere just wasn't my favorite.

Went for the first time today and absolutely loved it. The food was so delicious, the wait staff was amazing and I didn’t realize all the unique elements this has. A barbershop downstairs with six chairs, a ping pong hang out area that can hold 150 people with full service bar open till 2 AM, beautifully elevated elegant executive dining indoor terrace with a pool table, a gorgeous back patio, And I haven’t even got to the food menu just yet!!! The tuna sashimi bowl was amazing as well as everything else that we tried on the menu. The servers and kitchen staff was so friendly. Please do yourself a favor and check this place out. It’s perfect for a date or a quick business lunch, has really reasonable prices. It would also be excellent for any sort of party or work function. This is really going to be a hotspot right downtown in the core.

This is really a 4.5 review, not a 4, for some minor things that can easily be corrected. First, depending on your server, you might get sparkling wine in a big wine glass. It might seem fussy, but if you're a wino, you know it makes a difference in flavor and carbonation. There were also two occasions where the food I ordered had replacements which were not listed on the menu and that I was not told of, I'm not even sure if the kitchen or servers were aware that the dishes were not as described. For example, my salmon dish was supposed to come with grilled romaine, but I received a red cabbage salad instead. Still tasty, but not what I expected, and nobody seemed to notice. I would still recommend this place 100%, I would just advise you to pay attention and speak up if something is amiss. Customer service is really friendly, so I don't think they would mind.

Jenny is an amazing Bartender/server. Some of the staff could be better with their service but the good ones make up for it. Good beer selection.
