The first restaurant located in a department store has made The Walnut Room into a Chicago staple. Located on the 7th floor in Macy's on State Street. The Walnut Room carries a variety of American style classics as well as offering a Sunday brunch buffet. Join us for lunch or dinner. The Walnut Room is available for private dining for larger parties.

Located on the 7th floor in Macy’s. Beautiful decorations. Great drink selections (about $10/drink). Haven’t tried the food here yet but it looks good. Great place to enjoy the Xmas spirit.

I was at the Walnut Room for the Sunday brunch! I had a great salad with frisee, mixed greens, and all type of vegetables; it was excellent. Also the kitchen and wait staffs were very professional. Also, it was a nice to shop in the store after the branch. I look forward to going back when they put up the Christmas decorations. I highly recommend this place for tourists and locals alike.
