Walk-On's Bistreaux & Bar

About

Walk-On's is a place where over-the-top enthusiasm and culture is the daily norm. What sets us apart from all others though, is our authentic, mouthwatering Louisiana cuisine prepared fresh in a from-scratch kitchen. That includes seafood, traditional Cajun cuisine, and burgers built for two hands. Like Louisiana, food is truly Walk-On's calling card and the reason you'll keep coming back for more.

Great 1st impression. Ate here last week. It was my first time and I was pleasantly surprised. Wait staff knew there menu options and could make recommendations that were spot on. The menu is sports bar food, but good. They had a couple of glitches, but nothing worth say dont go to. Nice weekday lunch spot or after hours spot.

Very nice sports bar. This restaurant has enough TV's, way more than any other sports bar in Montgomery. The food is excellent. The menu is primarily Cajun or Cajun inspired. The employees are very kind. The wait time on football Saturdays for a party of two is usually 30-45 minutes. The parking lot can get full on busy days. Overall, the food, environment, and experience is worth the wait.

Expensive beer, $8.00 for a "tall", however you won't see any beer pricing on the menu, or at least I didn't. So two "tall" beers with tax and tip....like $20.00 - you decide if that's a value.Food: We ordered the blackened redfish tacos and pepper jelly shrimp salad, both were prepared and served well.Overall 4 out of five but know in advance that ordering alcohol will double your bill.

Questions & Answers

Unfortunately they do not. A few other places in town do

No

No, but when you check in with the hostess they get your cell number and you get a text message when your table is ready. It also provides a link for real time updates of you wait time. I found this very helpful.
