Best before 7 am and great food and service!

Ok so I tried to check in while there but the wifi wouldn't work. The waitress was very nice the place was very rustic with wagon wheels and animal heads on the walls. Lots of pictures also. The place was cute but kinda dirty. The bathroom was dirty and the door has a sign that says push hard to open. Very busy and everything tightly squeezed in. I had biscuits and gravy which was pretty good and a fruit salad which was really very good. My husband had chicken fried steak which he ordered medium because the waitress warned that well would be tough as it was made of elk. It came out well and tough and tasting of old fish oil. Do not recommend that at all. The place had a good atmosphere and nice people but had to take stars for my husband bad food and lack of cleanliness. Also long wait to pay and a young waitress bumped by me and I smiled sorry and she didn't even look back.

A good breakfast dining stop that I do wish had more fruit selections. Other than that, it was a terrific early morning downtown stop to sit down, eat and look at the wall decor and out the window. It opens bright and early and it is nested in the pine dominated valley of Truckee. Them having pineapple is too good to be true.☕🍓🌲🍴🍳

The owner is amazing.. great service and good old fashioned home made food. So glad we stopped. Makayla says hi and thanks for the fries!!

Good plain breakfast. Bacon and eggs were great. Ham was also great. Service good and friendly. The bathroom is a kick!

The food is over priced but bland. The Chili was gross. It had a spoiled tomato scent and was also bland tasting.

Went here every day for breakfast. Love it and love the people!!

Started with not being able to open the door to the ladies room so used the men’s. It was dirtier than the worst gas station bathroom I’ve ever been in. The toilet was disgusting. Our waitress was super unfriendly and the food was worse. The avocado in my omelet (which was not cooked through) was rotten. Everything was greasy and inedible, with the exception of the biscuit which was actually pretty good! My husband asked for a cappuccino and was given a lukewarm cup of coffee.

The owner was warm and welcoming and she has a great sense of humor Loved the all you can eat salad and the super large cranberry Vodka drink . You also have several others to choose from for only 12,50. Burger was great and a must have is her famous sweet balll pastry desert .

Food was so good and came out super fast despite coming at a crazy busy hour. Our server, Maggie, was wonderful as well! Would love to come back next time we visit Truckee.

This place is pretty dirty and the food is worth then a prison cafeteria. My omelette had uncooked eggs and they did not bother cutting the veggie in it at all, the onion was raw and I had a random shrimp in it that was not part of the dish I ordered. The fries had the taste of an old cooking oil. The coffee was weak. Half of the cheese was dripping from the side of the plate. The bill was $70 for 3 omelette and 3 coffees! The only good thing was that the server was nice. Rip off for bad food! Don’t do it!
