W. A. frost is a must to check out. The food is awesome and what a cool place. Areas in the basement to tuck a small party into, have some drinks and appetizers near a fire. Private bathrooms, a patio, private rooms are beautiful. Staff are professional and friendly. They have a bar that has plenty of spirits to choose from.

Unique, delicious restaurant with a historic twist and inventive food. My wife and I came here on our 13 anniversary because we ate here for one of our first nice dates years ago. The plates have only gotten better. The patio is amazing. The service also great. We are vegetarian and loved our options. Try the bruschetta for a sure win, the celery and fennel for something interesting, and the wild mushroom pasta for a killer main course. We loved our meals and will definitely be back for another celebration.

This a converted early 1900's pharmacy. This place has great food and ambiance with a historic flair. The food is great with a varied menu for all tastes. There is a restaurant and a bar and lounge. The bar has great drinks for the traditionalist and for the adventurous as well as for the nondrinkers. Great place to sit and relax. Great place to take someone new to the area.

The speakeasy is a unique place to sit and have a drink and enjoy company after dinner.

My wife and I have been coming here for years now and honestly they just do all the right things! From the seemingly uncomplicated yet fresh and thought out menu items to the inventive drink flights and craft cocktails, W.A. Frost doesn't screw around. If you haven't dined here in the summer or fall yet I highly recommend the patio! Cheers!

One more City Tin coaster done. WA Frost & Company in the Cathedral Hill neighborhood for brunch today. Admittedly, I did not love the Dutch Baby Pancake. Figs and lemon were good, but pancake was dry and needed more honey. This is not a slight against the establishment as a whole because the ambience was top notch and many other food items looked great.

Questions & Answers

Is has a parking lot in the back with handicap access.

They do have gluten free and vegan (dairy free) options but they do not guarantee anything as they use both in other meals.

Nailed it!

Claire Sorry dogs are not allowed on the patio. Thank for asking.

I have not heard any news of WA Frost closing, I did mention on a earlier post that one of their sister restaurants closed early due to a leak in the roof.

As I recall there are a few apps that are under $10 for dinner. Probably $30 for main dishes; the set menu is $55-65. Drinks are also $10 to low teens.

When i was last there, happy hour was later. Around 10pm - Midnight, if i remember. There was no special menu, but $2 off selected apps. Their menu changes seasonally.
