Love this place, I pop in when I'm in Albany. The staff is super nice, the food is great, keeps me powered throughout the day.Also the reviews make for great reading.

It was good except I requested not to drown the rice with gravy and it was exactly what I didn't want my husband couldn't eat the rice. It was greasy and wet. I ordered the rasta pasta shrimp and I added chicken but it wasn't to die for! One thing the portion is big if you are a foodie!

Customer service could be better. Not everybody who comes there is ghetto so don't expect everyone to act ghetto. Just serve people!!!

I traveled from Bolton Landing to get Brown Stew Chicken and after enjoying my meal I can proudly say it was more than worth the hour of travel! Excellent customer service and amazing food. Very welcoming atmosphere

Coming up from Long Island, I stopped here for the first time looking for dinner to take back to my hotel. This is a nice clean resturant located on Central Ave.The owner and staff were very friendly and welcoming.The food was excellent. Had a small jerk chicken with rice and peas and plantains. The chicken was flavorful and the rice well cooked and seasoned. Having tried a few other spots in the Albany area, this will be my regular go to place when I hit town.It's good to get a taste of home after the long drive up from LI.This brother from LI fully recommend this place for your next take out.

The oxtails were delicious and the butter shrimp even better. But they are cheap on the amount of oxtails they give you in your plate I say " Less rice more meat" Hellz yeah!!!! Would of put a pic but bust it down 😘
