Everything was fantastic. Some of the best pinto beans I’ve ever had. If you get fried chicken go for the dark meat.

My husband and I went here for the 1st time; we went online looking for soul food in Durham. This place is great! I got the baked white meat chicken, my husband got the fried. I also got the Mac n cheese and the sweet potato fluff. He got collard greens and pintos. He was eating more of my Mac n cheese and sweet potato fluff than I was! Great service and atmosphere we will definitely go back.

I have visited here twice. Both times I have enjoyed what I ate. First time I got the baked chicken, collards, and 3 cheese mac. This time I got the fried pork chop sandwich. The pork chop was superb! It was so good, I had to get the pork chop entree with cabbage, mashed potatoes, and sweet potato fluff. I'm really glad they have extended their opening hours.

I loved the Cooked cabbage. It was delicious. But the coleslaw tasted like it came from a box. And the hamburger had a weird texture to it. My boyfriend had the pork chop and said it was really good. And the tea is really really good.

Just visited for the first time to order takeout and food was great. I will come back.

First visit and I'll definitely be back. Best cornbread I've ever had! Small black owned business with friendly staff, welcoming environment and clean bathrooms.

Loved everything about this place from the food to the customer service. I ordered baked chicken with Mac and cheese, and rice and gravy it was really good and seasoned. I also got the side of banana pudding with a drink it was about 12.50 so very reasonable pricing I will be returning!!!

V’s is the perfect place, if you are looking for home cooked food! I ordered the hamburger scramble and my Father had fried fish & shrimp, sweet chili cabbage and macaroni & cheese. V’s Kitchen was clean, the staff was very friendly and we enjoyed the music!! Our first visit to V’s, we left full and happy, what more could you ask for? We will be going back.

A few Friends told me about this place and I finally had a chance enjoy me a plate from V's. The sweet Chile cabbage OMG 😍 everything was delicious and fresh even at 6:30. Will be going back for another visit real soon. Customer service was great as well 👍😀😀😊😊

I've had mostly good experiences at this place. And the food always taste really good, but you don't always get your money's worth, had a overcooked burger before and drinks are extra which should normally come with a dinner of such price point. So with that being said, the inconsistency on the quantity of their portion sizes are the deal breaker with me. I keep trying to support minority business owners, but issues like this are why customers don't return. Once before in one picture shows the generosity with the plate, but as you see the recent picture showed the opposite. I hate to dislike it this time, but maybe I'll give it another try.

Great southern cookin. Everything is awesome. Staff are polite and friendly. I've eaten here more than 30 times over the past several years and it's pretty consistent. Any bad reviews are most definitely flukes.

Quiant and please atmosphere with very friendly service. I had a bun less version of their bird burger, and it was excellent. So a well earned 5 stars from me on my initial visit. I hope to return next time I’m up this way.
