Volks Tanashi

Super delicious from main dish meats to salad bar! The soup and bread are both great although it's all-you-can-eat (took three trips although already full, but it's so good). Salad bar is amazing with a very solid wide variety of veggies. This is by far better than any family-style restaurants in Japan where all-you-can-eat bar are usually filled with cheapest veggies or really watered-down soup only. Meats are also great but almost pales in comparison with the salad bar. Definitely would go again if in the area. Sorry too busy eating and no photos!

A family visits around 2:30 pm.I had a free lunch set instead of salad, bread and soup.I wonder if there were about 12 kinds of salad bars including vegetables, fruits and desserts (coffee jelly etc.).There are three types of soup.You can choose both rice and bread, especially the freshly baked variety of bread in the shop is small and very delicious.And the best recommendation here is a very calm customer service centered on veteran staff.It's been more than 20 years since I first went to Tokyo, but it's always a delicious and full shop!

Typical chain store. Don't come here expecting Western style steak house like the one you find in the US. It's more like Denny's specialized in meat dishes. All dishes come with salad bar, and you can add unlimited home baked bread and soup bar as additional options. Meat is good quality, but I'd advice to avoid the lamb as it smelled a bit strong. I find it a bit overpriced, but maybe worth it if you're feeling like eating steak instead of yakiniku.
