This is one of my favorite bars in Manhattan, reminds me of Bavaria and the Czech bars in Europe—long entryway into a lovely courtyard. I recommend the Palm on draft.

Pricey belgian beer bar. Beers start at $9. They have a good selection. It is a speak easy style beer place. Its not loud at all. No loud music. It has good ambience for chatting with friends. Its a bit hidden but you should still be able to find it on google maps.

Who doesn’t love a Belgian. Great service, good ambiance with an illicit feel to it.

Feels like a cozy secret spot. Serving up great Belgian beers! Worth popping in for a few brew!

The selection of Belgian beers is impressive, and the ambiance reminds me of some of my fav bars in Europe. Plus the bartenders are so nice! I left my bag one night and they kept it safe for me to pick up the next day!! Much appreciated!!

[Very] dimly lit bar in the Village with an average beer selection. Great for a date night, music isn't loud at all so you can actually have a conversation. They lost my credit card here, I think they gave it to the wrong person. I came back the next day. They spend 10 minutes looking for the card - it was evident they recall seeing it at some point - but told me they couldn't find it. They then printed me a receipt with an auto-charge tip. This is standard if you leave your card behind at a bar... but, they fully admitted to losing my credit card. I was a bit shocked that they thought this was in any way acceptable. After complaining they removed the entire charge, which I appreciated. However, there was no apology for losing my card.

I've been going to vol de nuit more than 15 years now. The place hasn't changed at all. Great beers and good fries.I used to be a bigger fan of the area when I was younger. But it is still good.

One of the best open bars I’ve ever been to.

Name is right. Dark bar with good belgian beers. Such as karmeliet, leffe and delirium.Tip for the owner. Cornet. Good relaxed vibe.

Very good place for Belgian beers. Smaller selection of draft Belgian beers but its a very chill place and still has good prices and good beers and it’s close to one of my favorite restaurants on the city. They only serve fries though so if you’re cool with that, go for it (small update: you can bring your own food if you want)

Large selection of Belgian beers in a moody atmosphere. Friendly service.

Awesome selection of Belgian beers! Vibe was a bit more of Euro trash (not in a bad way though) with cigarette smoking on cool outdoor patio and people hooking up on lounge seats inside. Will be back.

Greet selection of Belgian beers. It is a little pricey, unfortunately. Beware of pickpockets on the outdoor area. We saw a few.

Came here for drinks on a Friday night with a large group of friends in January. We were able to grab a bunch of seats by the door, which was great but it was a bit cold. We had several orders of fries, which were delicious. They were served with both ketchup and mayo. The white wine selection was a bit limited, but I guess that’s expected at a beer garden.

It’s a bit small, but if you get a table get yourselfa Chimay Grand Reserve. Wow amazing beer. Amazing place to have a couple beers and chat with your friends. It’s not súper lied so you don’t need to shout unto be heard.
