Viva Cinco de Mayo

By far my current favorite Mexican food in Albany. Wonderful staff, authentic and delicious food which is remarkablely reasonably priced. Everything is incredibly fresh and delicious. No alcohol.

Come here if you're hungry for a reasonably priced and savory full plate. Daily specials on chalkboard, this is no kitschy "tex-mex" place, no bar, it's about the food, and you won't mind leaving full and satisfied every time. Also, great homemade horchata, salsa. Friendly and thoughtful staff.

Simply great. Overpriced Tacos and Tostadas but everything else is well priced. Awesome place!

Amazing authentic Mexican food in great Mexican air with decent service

The food was really good and authentic as far as I can tell. We love the nachos which is exceptional, partially, because their homemade fried tortillas. Nice thick crunchy tortilla to scoop up all those cheese and guacamole goodness. Their carnitas is a little too dry in my opinion. But, over all, this is a must try if you are looking for good Mexican food.

Recommended by a friend who is from Mexico City. Fresh tortillas and chips. Guac and avocados perfectly ripe. Many choices of meat to choose from, but they can make vegetarian as well. No alcohol, btw.

I am by no means a connoisseur of Mexican food, but I'd like to say I've had a fair amount of authentic Mexican food both bought and made at home and this place has fantastic food! The price is reasonable and the proportions are large. The people there are also very nice. You will leave satisfied!

I've been to Viva multiple times and I've ordered delivery a few times as well. They're the real deal. If you're looking for authentic Mexican food, I highly recommend Viva. You won't find better in Albany.

I really enjoyed the tacos lengua; good flavor and cooked perfectly. Everything on their menu looked delicious; I had trouble deciding. With friendly folks running it, I look forward to going back.
