Amazing gluten free (and vegan) cakes and yummy coffee too, in an adorable place. Well-presented with lots of different options. Service wasn't great though, which was a shame. It wasn't that busy but staff seemed too preoccupied to serve us, and even forgot one of the few things we ordered. I hope it's a bit friendlier next time as the food was heavenly!

This place is amazing. Lovely friendly service. I ordered a birthday cake for my mum and was delighted with it. The cake was beautiful, tasted amazing and was great value. Cakes are made to your own specifications and even the non vegan members of my family couldn’t taste any difference. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place and will definitely be returning with any future orders 🌱🎂

Nice bakery, sell nice vegan gluten free cakes also a coffee shop has a lovely classic feel to it on Brick Lane E1, The coffees are reasonably priced the cakes and pastries are a tad expensive compared to other coffee shops, the staff are friwndl

Thank you so much Vida Bakery! You made the most incredible looking and the most delicious Victoria sponge wedding cake we have ever had. Our guests kept telling us this too! I wish all wedding cakes could be as amazing as that one. The whole process to meeting with you, cake tasting and you even building the cake at the venue on the day to our surprise, was fantastic. You made the cake to exactly what we asked for and even made it soy free as well. We thank you so much for everything and we would gladly recommend you to anyone.

The place is super clean! The cupcakes and cookies taste amazingly good. The girl working there is very nice and helpful. I was looking for a gluten free place to have breakfast in London and for sure I will repeat!

Been to Vida several times as I work very nearby. At home sick today and thought I would order the rainbow cake on UberEats to make myself feel better. Sad to see you get half the amount of cake that you normally get when ordering in person. Look through photos others have posted and you'll immediately see what I mean. Obviously it's still a lot but considering delivery is the same price as the piece of cake I do feel a bit cheated. Won't order again but will go again in person.

Ordered a birthday cake for my daughter who is coeliac. The cake was beautiful and tasted delicious. It's not easy to find a place that makes gluten free, vegan cakes as well as Vida. They do deliveries which makes it easy when planning a birthday or special occasion treat. The colours they use are awesome.

Well worth the money. Very filling delicious vegan cakes (we bought the rainbow, and the oreo one).

I often have friend dates here since I’m vegan and my friend is gluten free. We can literally eat every thing on the menu without substitutions! So that’s cool! I usually get the cupcakes because they’re just so cute and I feel like the slices are too big for me! But that’s just a personal preference. I’ve tried pieces of my friend’s cake and they’ve always been delicious. Sometimes the cakes taste stale but it might just because of it being gluten free. I don’t usually go gluten free in more everyday life so I’m unsure. The flavor choices and the sheer amount of creativity/talent of the bakers is enough to give this place full stars! The girls working are also always super nice! The space is super cute and it’s in a central location right on Brick Lane!

I chose this bakery so our vegan friend could partake in the birthday cake festivities based on the fine reviews. The red velvet cake looked quite fetching and seemed a perfect size. The sales clerk boxed cake and offered to put some writing on the cardboard plate below the cake. Many of our guests commented on how nice the cake looked. Unfortunately, few could finish the dry, flavourless dessert. Very disappointing.

Vida Bakery is the stuff of vegan, gluten free dreams. Every cake, cookie and hot drink I have tried there is divine. Particular favourites are the Rainbow cake, Peanut Butter and Chocolate swirl cake and the double chocolate cookie. It's such a treat as a gluten free vegan to be spoilt for choice, as I can eat everything on offer at Vida. I can't wait until my next visit. I can't recommend this place enough for sweet toothed vegans and their friends.
